Quick tutorial on how to retain length in braids and cornrows? Tired of seeing huge chunks when you take down your hair?

I’ve decided to take my own advice and practice what I preach, no matter what style my hair is in.
I just took down these braids and I’m happy to say there was very little breakage. 🙌🏾
Hair shedding is completely normal, but when it becomes excessive, it’s often a sign that your hair is also experiencing breakage. The goal isn’t to stop shedding, it’s to reduce unnecessary breakage and keep your strands strong.
One thing that has made a huge difference for me is continuing to care for my hair while it’s in protective styles.
✨ Every few days I:
