Self-Worth Begins With You

Respect Is a Two-Way Street
Respect is one of the strongest foundations of any relationship. As much as a man wants a woman to respect him, he should also understand that a woman is a human being with feelings, dreams, emotions, and dignity.
The fact that God created man to be the head of the family does not mean that a woman should be treated like a slave. Leadership should never be mistaken for domination. A true leader protects, values, and respects the people around him.
Women sacrifice a lot in relationships and in marriage. They stand by their partners through difficult times, support their families, and make countless sacrifices that often go unnoticed. Many women go as far as risking their lives to bring children into the world. They help build homes, raise families, and contribute to a man's success.
A man's title as a father and a family leader becomes complete because of the partnership and support of a woman. That is why respect should never flow in only one direction.
When a man values and respects a woman, and a woman does the same for a man, love grows, understanding increases, and the relationship becomes stronger.
Respect should never be demanded by one person and denied to the other. In every healthy relationship, respect must be mutual.

Must some men learn wisdom?
Just because a woman is independent, has built herself up, and is working hard to achieve her dreams doesn't mean she will accept every excuse, every mistake, or every unreasonable behavior.
