1. The less you say, the more your words matter.
People rarely remember who talked the most. They remember who spoke with wisdom, clarity, and purpose.

2. Don’t take everything personally.
Most people are too busy dealing with their own fears, insecurities, and struggles to think about you as much as you think they do.

3. What you focus on becomes your reality.
Focus on problems, and life feels heavy. Focus on possibilities, growth, and gratitude, and life begins to open in unexpected ways.

4. One day, your pain will make sense.
The heartbreak, rejection, failure, and disappointment you curse today may become the reason you are stronger tomorrow.

5. Every person enters your life for a reason.
Some come to love you. Some come to teach you. Some come to wake you up. And some come to show you what you should never accept again.

6. Never stop trying new things.
The moment you stop growing, life starts feeling smaller. Curiosity keeps the mind alive and the soul young.

7. You can't control everything—and that's okay.
Some battles are won by effort. Others are won by acceptance. Wisdom is knowing the difference.

8. The people meant for you won't require you to betray yourself.
Real connections do not demand that you shrink, pretend, or abandon your values to be loved.

9. Time is your most valuable possession.
Money returns. Opportunities return. Even relationships sometimes return. Time never does.

10. At the end of the day, you must live with yourself.
Not with other people's opinions. Not with their expectations. Just with the choices you make and the person you become.

Life became much lighter when I stopped trying to impress everyone...

Stopped chasing approval.
Stopped forcing outcomes.
Stopped carrying things that were never mine to carry.

Because in the end...

Peace doesn't come from having everything.

It comes from understanding what truly matters—and letting go of what doesn't.

" I watched a video on TikTok and I have not been able to shake it off my mind. Not because it was loud or dramatic, but because it was quiet… and wicked in a way that sits in your chest like a stone.

A young man was being interviewed. Soft-spoken, tired eyes, the kind that have seen betrayal too early in life. He said he works as an interior and exterior designer. A hustler. One of those people trying to build something honest in a country that tests your patience daily.

Then he made a decision that many of us would make without thinking twice.

He brought in his cousin.

Family.

Blood.

He didn’t just give him a place to stay, he gave him purpose. Took him along to work so he wouldn’t be idle. Fed him. Covered his expenses. Treated him like a younger brother. The kind of help that doesn’t come with noise or social media posts. Just love, responsibility, and quiet sacrifice.

One day, while they were on site, the cousin asked for his phone to make a call.

Simple.

Harmless.

He handed over the phone.

That moment… that small, ordinary moment… was the beginning of his collapse.

The next day, he received a message. A crypto transaction had been approved.

His heart skipped.

He asked the cousin casually.

The boy looked him in the eye and said no.

Calmly. Confidently. Like truth had nothing to do with him.

It was the weekend, so the banks were closed. He tried logging into his account, but the password had already been changed.

That was when fear started crawling into his bones.

On Sunday, he managed to recover access.

But it was too late.

₦11.3 million… gone.

Just like that.

Vanished.

₦3.3 million was his personal money. The remaining ₦8 million belonged to a client. Someone who trusted him with their funds.

In one swipe, his sweat, his name, his credibility… all dragged into the mud.

He confronted the cousin again.

Still, denial.

No shaking. No remorse. No fear.

Just lies… clean and straight.

On Monday, he rushed to the bank. Filed a complaint. They asked the usual questions.

“Did you receive any OTP?”

“No.”

“Did you give your phone to anyone?”

And that was when it hit him.

The only person was his cousin.

Still, he held back. Maybe it wasn’t him. Maybe there was a mistake. Maybe… just maybe.

He called him again.

“Did you see any OTP on my phone that day?”

Again… denial.

Days passed.

Then the cousin said he wanted to travel.

Travel?

After everything?

And this same man… this same betrayed soul… still gave him ₦15,000.

Read that again.

He still gave him money.

Because kindness does not know how to switch off, even when it is bleeding.

Then days later, a message came in.

“I AM SORRY. I DID IT.”

No explanation.

No breakdown.

No attempt to fix anything.

Just a confession that came too late to matter.

Do you understand the depth of that kind of wickedness?

To eat from someone’s table… and poison the same plate.

To be lifted… and still choose to destroy the hand that carried you.

This man said he was planning to take him along to the Republic of Ireland for vacation.

That was the plan.

Now, he is stuck trying to raise ₦8 million that does not belong to him.

So far, he has been able to gather ₦7 million.

Still struggling.

Still begging.

Still explaining.

His reputation hanging by a thread.

His wife… heavily pregnant.

About to give birth into chaos he did not create.

Bills are piling.

Sleep has become a stranger.

Peace has packed its bags and left his house.

All because he chose to help family.

Let’s stop romanticizing “family is everything” without caution.

Because sometimes, family is the knife that cuts the deepest.

Not every blood connection carries loyalty.

Not every “brother” deserves access.

Not every act of kindness should be blind.

This is not a story to make you hard. But it should make you wise.

Help people… yes. But protect yourself.

Set boundaries. Guard your access.

Because the pain of being betrayed by a stranger is sharp…

But the pain of being destroyed by your own bl00d?

That one doesn’t just hurt.

It changes you.

And sometimes that change is Forever."

A married once said

I'm a married man, so I'll be truthful. I think men should be given their own bitter pills because they think women don't have blood flowing through their veins. Women are very quick to forgive, they're tolerant and patient, but when you've pushed them to the wall and they want to hurt you, even the devil sits down to take lesson notes. You cannot turn your dried, expired, and iron-condemned private part, which has lost alignment, into a community property, a democratic private part, a private part of the people, for the people, by the people, and with the people, and then expect to have a faithful wife. If you want a faithful wife, start by being a faithful husband first, because you cannot wear a designer's suit over bathroom slippers. Men are not polygamous in nature; rather, everybody is polygamous in nature, but it takes discipline to tame it. And to those men thinking men are polygamous in nature and that it isn't easy to eat only one soup for the rest of their lives, who told you that to change soup is not to hunger your women too? These women noticed the assorted meat in rich egusi soup but decided to stick with your dried yam. Men, love your wife, don't cheat on her, because when you keep playing your wife like a football, neglecting her, cheating, disrespecting, and abusing her, another man will catch her like a good goalkeeper, and you won't like watching the highlights. The truth is, if only married men were disciplined, responsible, and faithful, the world would be a better place. Aura for aura, egusi for egusi. Class dismissed.

One Day, Tomorrow Will Start Without You

Life has a quiet way of reminding us that our presence here is temporary.
One day, the sun will rise.
The birds will sing.
People will go about their daily routines.
Children will laugh and play.
The world will continue moving…
But you will not be there.
Your seat will be empty.
Your voice will be silent.
Your phone will ring, but you will never hear it again.
Your footsteps will no longer echo in the places you once walked.
Yet life will go on.
This simple truth teaches us a powerful lesson:
Be careful how you live. Be humble while you can.
Do not allow pride to blind your heart.
Do not treat people as though you will always be here.
Do not postpone kindness for tomorrow.
Because tomorrow is not promised.
Show love while you can still express it.
Forgive while your heart is still beating.
Help others while your hands are still strong.
Always remember:
One day, tomorrow will start without you.
So live today with humility, compassion, and gratitude.

*May almighty God give us the grace to always Thank him for everyday we are lucky to see the light of the day GRANT us good health and Long life in Jesus name

I wrote this for myself. But if it resonates with you, then it's yours too... because getting older teaches you things no one warns you about, and these are some of mine.

Things I've Learned about Love, Dating and Relationships as I've Gotten Older:

1. Negotiating is Not the Same as Settling.

I understand that nobody is perfect, but I think that there are things that can be talked about and worked on. When someone refuses to grow, or refuses to even try to work on themselves? That's not negotiation anymore... that is settling, and I'm not desperate enough for love or company to put up with it. I'd rather be alone, than be with anyone who thinks they are doing me a favour by being with me.

2. A Person Can Genuinely Be a Good Person, And Still Be a Bad Partner.

A mán can be a wonderful human being and still be a terrible partner. I've made my peace with this. If you're good to everyone but don't treat me with any extra care, attention, or intention… then what exactly makes it a relationship? I am not asking for you to treat others badly... All I'm saying is, if your goodness is for everyone else and I am somehow just another person on that list, no different from your colleague, your neighbor, your friend, then we have no business being in a relationship. I want to feel like I am special to you... is that too much to ask?

3. I Cannot be With Someone Who Has No Accountability.

At this age, accountability is non-negotiable. I refuse to deal with someone who is always right, always defensive, and never willing to reflect. I can no longer stand a person who has an excuse for everything... someone who listens only to respond instead of actually hearing you... someone who cannot take a correction without turning it into a debate. That back and forth exhausts me in ways I cannot explain anymore, and honestly, I am too old for it.

4. Money is Not a Substitute For Emotional Presence.

I like to be spoiled. I like to be treated well. I like the good things of life and I make no apology for that. However, if all you are bringing is money with zero emotional investment behind it, it means nothing to me. Grand gestures are good... but accountability, emotional presence, and intentional love matter more to me. Check in on me... Notice me... Pay attention to me. Generosity without care, attention, or kindness is transaction. I'm not in a relationship for transaction.

5. PDA is Not Optional.

Public affection doesn’t have to be loud... even I don't like "excessive PDA"... but it shouldn't feel like a crime either. If holding my hand in public makes you uncomfortable, we are not compatible. Simple. Do not make me feel like holding your hand or showing me affection in public is an inconvenience or an embarrassment to you.

6. Do Not Manage Me.

It's either I'm your cup of tea, or I'm not. You are either attracted to me physically, emotionally, intellectually and wholly... or you are not. Do not pick the parts of me you like and quietly tolerate the rest. Do not date me while being embarrassed by my body, my size, my tribe, my face, or the way I look. Do not keep me around because I am convenient while wishing I was someone else. I will not be somebody's compromise. It's either you love me COMPLETELY, or do not love me at all. It is that simple.

7. Love Me in My Language, Not Yours.

This one took me a while to understand, and it might be the most important thing I've learned. If we are in a relationship, take the time to learn how I receive love and love me in the way I need to be loved, not the way that is most convenient for you or what comes naturally to you... and I'll do the same. Do not love me in your own way... Love me in mine... it's not too much to ask.

At this point of my life, I'm not asking for perfection. I'm asking for intention, honesty and depth.

If it is not natural, real, consistent, intentional and mutual, it's not mine, and when it comes to love and relationships, I'd rather have nothing than settle for anything.

I'm not hard to love. I know what I bring. I know what I deserve, and I'm no longer willing to accept a version of love that does not feel right or whole.
