Kuuma

You asked, we listened ❤️‍🔥 Kuuma is introducing Women-only & Silence sessions. One of the questions we got in our end-of-year survey was: “Maybe there could be women-only hours?” All right! Let’s do it!

Women-only sessions are a space to come alone or with friends and enjoy the sauna surrounded by women. And for those moments when you really want to switch off: Silence sessions. No chatting, no small talk. Just heat, fresh air and a moment to reconnect with yourself.

Now available in Amsterdam, Nijmegen, Delfshaven and Den Bosch. Have you joined one yet? We’d love to hear what you think.

We love seeing our sauna’s through your eyes. Keep the Kuuma moments coming. The season is just getting started 🔥 Use code SEASONSTART to sauna with 20% until the end of October.

We’re looking for Kuumasters - warm and grounded people who can give a good aufguss❤️‍🔥 We believe a good Kuumaster is something you already have in you.

An eye for people. Knowing how to read a room and create a good atmosphere. The technical side of aufguss? We can teach you that.

A little sneak peek from our workshop. While we’re getting ready for another sauna season, we asked Michael a few questions.

Looking forward to? The beach saunas, the sea, the events where we actually get to meet the people who come to our saunas.

How would you describe Kuuma? A reset. A small pause in a hectic life. A place where everyone is equal - you can sit in silence or strike up a conversation with a complete stranger. Both are completely fine. Both happen all the time.

What makes you most proud? The winter months. People tell us the sauna has become part of their week. Their sport, their recovery, their mental health. 1 + 1 = 3.

Something we don’t know? People meet at Kuuma and make plans to see each other again the following week. Friendships start at Kuuma. There are even relationships that started in the sauna. We’re always careful with sharing contact details - but when people ask us to connect them, we do. With care.

See you at the sauna 🔥
Michael, Kuuma

Almost open: Kuuma Egmond aan Zee 🔥 Just 10 meters from the North Sea stands a beautiful new sauna, built for 10 people. As always, we built and placed this sauna ourselves, with our own hands, tools and a lot of sweat. We’re opening with a free sauna weekend! Come by on 11 & 12 July. Book a free spot, bring your friends and enjoy! *Just book online - we make sure you will not be charged for the booking.

Ten ice cold buckets please…

We had no plans. It turned into a beautiful night. 🔥Bouldering at sauna after. Best decision we didn’t plan.

💛 Looking for a new adventure? If you’re good at keeping an overview when things get chaotic, if you’re excited about sauna culture, community and startup energy, then.. reach out to us! Our office is based in Arnhem, this is where we build our sauna’s too. This job can be done partly remote. Speak soon ✌️

You’ll work from our workshop in Arnhem — between saunas, builds, coffee, WhatsApp messages and plans that somehow became real.

Not very corporate.
Very hands-on.
