Billboard hunting last night 🌏🌊⏳️🧙🧙‍♂️ Its like a treasure hunt!!. We do have a list of the sites showing our Sandscribers artwork, however theres no timetable when they are shown.

So we were driving around town checking them out. What fun!! This is two of them.
Massive expansion 💥💥

I added two photos from yesterday as well, the lion in the sky at sunset and the Karma drinks van parked outside our place in the morning.
This all came about because of kindness and this is the kindness received.

What an amazing opportunity for us. Starting our Sandscribers instagram page to start sharing what Wayne Allan Webb and I were creating together just for fun after I moved to Christchurch.

And now here we are on multiple billboards for 2 weeks.
We are so grateful to Erin and Dean from Go Media for their kindness.

Its that magical day again. Day out of time. Ive decided today I am only doing things that bring me joy. 😊 Its raining this morning so the outdoor market is was going to go to is canceled. So its prompting me to look at other avenues....... I will definately be in my art room today 🎨 play some music 🥁🎶and hopefully go outside. ☀️ I will definately have some quiet time as well.Enjoy your day however you decide to spend it 💃🎶🥁

Instead of the current perspective of the Gregorian calendar, 12/60 Time = Money with months of 28, 30 and 31 days

Happy Matariki (Maori new year)

When the Matariki constellation (Pleiadies) arrives on the horizon at dawn in New Zealand. (Aotearoa)

On the eve of Matariki the Maori new year), I have finally done something i have wanted to for many years....creating an altar and honouring my ancestors (tupuna) and those family who have passed away.

Pohutakawa is one of the stars of the Matariki constellation (also known as Pleiadies). Its the star about remembering those who passed in the last year.

I have been fortunate to not have any family pass in the last year so I decided to use photos of my parents and grandparents acknowledging where i come from. I also added my half brother Rex, my sister Carol and sister in law Yvonne who have passed.

I had just received a box of treasures from my brother that belonged to Mum. In it was an photo album I had made for her of our family tree, so it was perfect gift for me to use the photos tonight.

I have just completed an art piece including a different way of representing a family tree, ( in circles). I added the names and birth dates of my parents, grandparents and great grandparents.
The first time i have done that on a piece of art.

So of course everything is aligned.

The correct tradition is to rise before dawn, head outside to the beach if possible and during the ceremony there is a time to call out the names of those who have passed in the last year.

Its very emotional creating these altars. Im glad I did it and listened to some of their favourite music while I was creating the piece of art in the centre.

We are their living prayer 🙏
