I'm a Little Person, and when I was pregnant I didn't know if Nashyn would be too.
We were going to love her fiercely either way.
But I cried the day I realised she was little like me. Not because I didn't want her to be, but because I knew what was coming. I knew the stares, the assumptions, the barriers, and that people can be cruel.
That was my one big cry.
After that, I became relentlessly fierce.
I don't share our lives just for sh*ts and giggles. I share them because awareness creates understanding, and understanding creates kindness.
My hope is that, by telling our story, I can help make the world just a little gentler... not only for Nashyn, but for everyone ✨️
