Toner timing matters more than you think.
One of the biggest mistakes I see is rinsing L’Oréal Professionnel Dia Light too early.
Dia Light develops for up to 20 minutes.
Rinsing at 5–10 minutes often means:
• Uneven neutralisation
• Poor longevity
• A toner that fades much faster
That doesn’t mean every client needs the full 20 minutes—but if your target shade hasn’t developed yet, don’t rush it.
My rule: Watch the hair, not the clock. Let the tone fully develop before deciding it’s ready to rinse.
Patience = cleaner blondes, richer brunettes, and longer-lasting colour. 🤍
