I honestly can’t believe I’m writing this.
Thank you to every single person who has followed along on this journey and supported me over the years. Nearly eight years ago, I took the leap and went out on my own. Since then, there have been plenty of highs, plenty of lows, and so many lessons along the way.
One of my biggest dreams was always to buy a beautiful home in a beautiful area and create a salon that felt peaceful, welcoming, and somewhere my clients could truly enjoy spending time. The fact that I’m finally here is so surreal, and I’m incredibly proud of what has been created.
This fit out was especially emotional for me. My dad shop fitted my very first salon and did the most incredible job, so not having him here for this one was really hard on the heart. But it made it even more special that my mum stepped into that role, painting and helping with whatever needed to be done. I know Dad would be so proud of what we’ve created.
And as for my partner, jaedyn. I honestly couldn’t have done this without him. Every afternoon after work, every evening, and every spare weekend, he was there helping bring my vision to life without ever needing to be asked. I am beyond grateful for everything he’s done.
To my clients… thank you. So many of you have become more like friends and family over the years, and I truly wouldn’t be where I am without your loyalty, kindness, and support. You’ve supported every stage of my journey, and I’ll never take that for granted.
For the first time in a long time, I can honestly say I’m so proud of myself. I absolutely love what I do. It never really feels like work (unless I’m doing those extra long days! 😂), and I feel incredibly lucky that this is the life I’ve built.
