Meadow and Moo

It’s only 8am and the kids have already fought over a blanket, Charlie’s raided the cupboards, attempted to steal my coffee, tried to feast on cat biscuits, and has been sprinting around the house like a tiny feral raccoon with things she absolutely shouldn’t have in her hands.

So anyway, good morning to all the other parents currently surviving rather than thriving 🤣

Raising a country girl is just me saying “watch the puddle” while already knowing she’s absolutely going in it boots first, with zero hesitation and maximum joy 😂

A little patch of dirt turned into a world of imagination for my girls ✨
Fairy houses, muddy play kitchens, tiny treasures and childhood magic tucked beneath the trees.

Motherhood has been the most life changing journey,not because every day is perfect, but because the smallest moments somehow become the most meaningful.

Sticky little hands, sleepy morning cuddles, muddy footprints through the house, hearing their laughter from another room, watching them discover the world, and realising they still look to you for comfort above anyone else.

Some days feel overwhelming, exhausting, and heavy. Other days feel slow and beautiful in ways that are hard to explain. But through all of it, there is something so special about being the person they run to when they need love, safety, reassurance, or simply a cuddle.

Motherhood has taught me that love is found in the ordinary moments, the ones that often pass by quietly but end up becoming the memories that matter most.

Happy Mother’s Day to every mum doing her best, loving deeply, and giving so much of herself every single day 🤍

It’s me vs the world… but I’ve got coffee, so I’m cautiously optimistic.

starting again in the King Country. So grateful my girls get to grow up with space to run, dirt on their hands, and the kind of childhood you can’t replace.

Coming home to the King Country hits different when you’ve got your own kids.
So grateful they’ll get to grow up here, just like I did.

Learning something new again has been good for me. I haven’t created art since intermediate, but lately I’ve found myself coming back to it.

Still figuring things out, still learning, but enjoying the process more than anything 🤍
