Nail The Mani

I loved this inspo I came across and, knowing it was likely done with UV gel, I was still determined to see if I could recreate it with dip! 😍

The gold acrylic nail art pen did dull quite a bit when I applied the Clear over it, but I’m still really happy with how these turned out!

GLAMRDiP ™ products used

Method:
💚 2x layers of Khaki on full-cover extensions, followed by 1x layer of Angel Energy.

💚 Pointer: Dipped just the tip in 1x Khaki + 1x Angel Energy. The rest of the nail bed was 2x Lucid.

💚 Ring finger: 2x Lucid, then used a thin nail art brush with Base to create the pattern before dipping in Khaki + Angel Energy.

💚 Clear over all nails to encapsulate, then Seal, Buff, Seal.

💚 Used gold nail art liners for the detailing, then encapsulated with Clear.

💚 Seal, Buff, Seal, followed by 2x layers of Glow.

💚 I used clear, almost-full-cover extensions.

I’m pretty happy with how close I managed to get to the original inspo without using UV gel!

DIY Dip Powder Aura Nails!

Not gonna lie. These took like 4 hours but it was so worth it! 😅

GLAMRDiP ™ - Colours used:
Thumb - fairytale, pillow talk, paradise
Pointer - fairytale, cotton candy
Third - buttercup, aurora
Ring - fairytale, pillow talk, paradise
Pinky - cotton candy, buttercup

Line work - Glamrdip white nail art pen

Method:
💜 To create soft blends between each colour or aura work I used fluffy eyeshadow brushes to tap colour over at a height so the powder would disperse finely.
💜 I used a total of 2 layers of colour on each nail + a layer of Clear.
💜 Sealed, buffed/shaped, Sealed.
💜 Did nail art with pen - then a layer of Clear.
💜 Sealed, buffed/shaped, Sealed.
💜 2x layers of Glow

🩵 Used full cover clear soft gel nail extensions in medium almond.

The method:
1. 2x layers of colour, followed by 1x layer of Clear to encapsulate shimmer layers before buffing
2. Seal, Buff, Seal again.
3. Next, apply charms, pearls, and caviar beads with quick-dry nail glue
4. Apply Seal over everything
5. Finish with 2x layers of Glow

Clear medium almond soft gel tips used 🤍

Here’s a mani using shades from the new Red Edit collection from GLAMRDiP - they were a limited Valentine’s drop so they sold out fast 🫣 BUT I hear GLAMRDiP are working on bringing them back into the main line 👀

Shades:
- Bordeaux Nights on thumb and third finger
- Hot Gossip on 2nd and pinky
- Garnet Games on fourth finger
+ GD red liner

Method:
1. 2x layers of each colour
2. Seal, buff, seal
3. Nail art on thumb and 3rd
4. Base and clear to encapsulate all nails
5. Seal, buff, seal
6. 2x layers of glow

*Tip: tap and shake your glitter pottles till the glitter comes up to the top in an even layer. Then lay your nail face down into the glitter for an even application. Wait till absolutely dry before brushing nail off*
