20 year old me, entering a foreign and daunting chapter, with no idea how she was going to continue to pursue her dreams while raising a little human on her own, would be so proud of 37 year old me.

But even that 20 year old always knew deep down she would do it, because she made a promise to herself she would not let anything hold her back, despite how long it might take or if it became 100 x more challenging along the way.

Looking back now, it makes it 100 x more rewarding and makes me so grateful for every obstacle that has taught me, every experience that has shaped me, and every person that has supported me and believed in me.

Success looks different for everyone. For me it’s arriving where a younger you dreamed of being one day, and realising if you can do that once, you can do it over and over again as many times as you like.

The only competition you have is with yourself.
The only person you have to prove anything to, is yourself.
There is no deadline.
There is no finish line.

You just can’t give up!
