From the very first day the conflict erupted between Yakuman and Yangakuni, Yakuman has stood firm and established three groups within society to guide our response:

1. GOD FIRST
All churches and leaders are united in a chain of prayer—standing against the enemy’s networks and plans to cross into our land boundary. Our God is omnipresent at all times and in all places. We believe He will block every attempt to smuggle bullets, guns, and weapons into our land. The battle belongs to the Lord, and the victory will be ours.
2. YAKUMAN
Yakuman is a peace-loving people. Each clan has elected commanders to maintain the security of our boundaries. Whenever the enemy enters our land, Yakuman is prepared to chase them back into their own territory. The people are not terrified or shaken; rather, they remain strong and ready to defend if necessary. At the same time, Yakuman desires peace above all.

3. GOVERNMENT- Yakuman is working cooperatively with the GOVERNMENT.

The Provincial Law and Order Mediation Team is working closely with Yakuman leaders, the Provincial Police Commander, and the Discipline Forces to safeguard all government services in Wapenamanda.
