No Walls Between Us

Treat them fair, Treat them what they deserve.

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is a historical fiction novel written by John Boyne and published in 2006. Set during World War II, it tells the story of Bruno, a nine-year-old German boy, who befriends Shmuel, a Jewish boy living inside a N**i concentration camp. Through their innocent friendship, the novel reveals the tragic consequences of war, prejudice, and discrimination during the Holocaust.

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas shows the devastating effects of discrimination during the Holocaust. In the story, Jews are treated unfairly because of their religion and are forced into concentration camps, separated from their families, and denied their basic human rights. They lose their freedom, live in constant fear, and endure inhumane conditions simply because of who they are. Through the innocent friendship of Bruno and Shmuel, the novel reminds us that discrimination creates division, suffering, and injustice. It encourages readers to advocate for equality, respect diversity, and protect the dignity and rights of every person.

Through the characters of Sisa, Crispรญn, and Basilio, the novel vividly illustrates how discrimination based on race and social class destroys human dignity and rights. The poor are left voiceless, the natives are belittled, and those who seek knowledge are suppressed.

In modern times, our group wants to remind everyone that discrimination remains a crucial challenge that we must confront and eradicate.

๐Ÿ“– BOOK: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
โš–๏ธ ISSUE: Discrimination

"Until we can judge a man by his character, not by his color, we will never have true justice."

In 1930s Alabama, Tom Robinson was found guilty not because of evidence, but because of his skin color.
Discrimination silenced him.

Fast forward to 2026:
It still happens. In school hallways. In job interviews. In comments online.
People are judged for their race, religion, gender, disability, or background.

But we can choose differently.

Our campaign `See Beyond Skin` is about speaking up, listening, and treating everyone with fairness and respect.

โœจ 3 WAYS WE CAN HELP!
1. Speak up when you see bullying or unfair treatment
2. Learn about people different from you
3. Be an ally โ€” stand with, not just for others

Justice doesnโ€™t have a color. Kindness doesnโ€™t have a gender. Respect has no religion.

Letโ€™s build a world where everyone gets a fair trial in life.

END INEQUALITY, CHOOSE HUMANITY

"Social Class doesn't define a personโ€˜s worth"

Ang Kalupi by Benjamin Pascual tells the story of a mother named Aling Marta, a poor mother who mistakenly accuses a young boy of stealing her wallet (kalupi). Because of the boy's appearance and social status she quickly judged the boy and because of it, a tragic event happened. In the end, she discovers that her wallet was never stolen, it had been left at home all along.

"Ang Kalupi" highlights the problem of discrimination and judging people because of their appearance or social status. The story shows that accusing someone without knowing the truth is wrong and can hurt innocent people. It teaches us to respect others, avoid judging them by their looks, and always know the truth before making accusations.
