📚Currently reading Crown of Midnight (around 70%)

I started this thinking, “Okay, this is a solid sequel.”

Now I’m staring at the pages wondering what secret everyone is hiding… and I have this feeling something is coming, but I can’t quite put my finger on it yet.

Celaena is no longer just the kingdom’s assassin—she’s constantly caught between who she truly is and the role she’s forced to play, making every decision feel heavier than the last.

Chaol is equally compelling because he’s torn between his duty and his heart, and even when I don’t agree with his choices, I can understand where he’s coming from.

Then there’s Dorian, who continues to surprise me. Beneath his charming prince facade, he’s becoming more thoughtful and carrying burdens he never expected, and watching that quieter kind of growth has been just as rewarding.

SJM really looked at my emotional stability and said, “Not today.” 😂

Please don’t spoil anything—I just want to suffer with everyone who has already been through this.

Remember when I said the last week has been a little wild? 😳

Guys, this is a first for me! I’ve never had the privilege of announcing a film adaptation for one of my novels before it even releases, so please excuse the over usage of exclamation points because WHAT EVEN IS HAPPENING?!?!

What a dream!!!

I’m struggling to find adequate words for how surreal this experience has been, and how grateful I am to the team at Apple TV for reading an early copy of PECULIAR STARS last week and loving it as much as I do! It’s the perfect home for this project! The scope, the settings, the characters and themes…they just get it!

I know release day is a few months away (Nov 17), but I really can’t wait for you guys to get your hands on this one. It was such a joy to create and it’s definitely one of my favorite books I’ve ever written!
