Bad news has a way of pulling the heart into fear and urgency. Before reacting, learn to pause long enough to remember who God is. Stillness creates room for faith to speak louder than panic.

Throughout nature in God's glorious work we can see interdependence between species. It is this basic tenet of symbiosis that John describes as emanating from Christ, serving to highlight that both parties, us, His willing disciples and God himself, require one another.

God almighty, thank you for you word and truth, and for giving me the nurturing and support I need. Give me today my daily bread, as I promise to praise and serve thee in all I do, in all I accomplish. For your glory I wish to labor, so that your light might never be extinguished. Everlasting flame, remain with me now and evermore, Amen.

The world can change in a moment, but the believer’s hope is anchored beyond this world. When heaven is our home, today’s troubles no longer have the final word. In Christ, our future is secure.

Every trial, every act of obedience, and every moment spent with Christ is preparing our hearts for eternity with Him. Let God use today to make you more like Jesus.

Inspiration:
As much as it may pain us to admit it, we are all products of our environment. Being constantly surrounded by negativity, sinners and deceit, one can hardly hope to maintain a healthy relationship, either with others or God. However, surrounded by encouragement, love and understanding, the same individual may flourish and nurture not only themselves but also those around them. The disciples surrounding Jesus could be taken as an example. This passage reminds us to keep when possible, the company of the virtuous, in order to avoid transgressions.

Prayer:
Dear Lord, I thank you for my family and friends and the care and compassion they have shown me, through your love and grace. As I live to serve your name, please help me treasure and love each and every one of them, and continue by your kindness to safeguard them from all evil and temptation. Keep us safe, locked in your warm and everlasting embrace. Amen.

And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again. —Matthew 20:19

The other day I needed to get to an appointment on time but intentionally left late because I did not want to wait in traffic. I knew the "pain" that I would endure on the journey and opted to take the easier option. Jesus knew the pain that he would endure, and it involved a lot more than a traffic jam: betrayal by his own disciple, embarrassment, torture, ridicule, mockery, and death. His bravery and faith in the divine plan are why we have the chance to bask in glory in heaven.

Prayer🙏🏻
You are an awesome and loving God, Abba Father! Your divine plan is the only saving grace for humanity. My faith, which I must admit has wavered and waned, shall be forever pledged to you, my Lord, my rock and my refuge. Give me the wisdom to resist evil temptations, and most importantly remind me of the incredible sacrifice that you made by sending your only begotten son to earth, knowing full well that he would go through tremendous persecution and pain, so that we could live. I aim to live, my Father, and pledge my faithful servitude to you now and forever. Amen.

Inspirations✨
Perhaps barring a few exceptions, it pains us to admit that our love for many is largely conditional on certain things, such as if the other partner stays faithful, if they continue to help provide for us, or if they do not know certain things about us, etc. Accepting God into your heart is the only condition required for lasting, eternal love. His love for all is unconditional, but He has empowered you to make the choice yourself. Once you have accepted the Lord, you may never truly leave from His embrace.

My Father the Lord Almighty, I thank you for hearing my prayer and in granting me lasting and eternal love. I pray only that You may find a way into the hearts of those who do not yet praise or speak Your name. Help me to open my mouth and spread the good word, my Almighty Father, so that all of Your children may know Your everlasting blessings. Amen.
