How Long Does S***m Live Inside And Outside The Body?

Getting pregnant can be tricky. Sometimes, you might need to track your ovulation for months to get things right. But it doesn’t just depend on the woman. How long the s***m lives inside the female body can be a major game changer, even if parenthood isn’t on your agenda. For example, what happens if a man ej******es near a woman’s a**s and semen seeps into the va**na? What about semen on clothing or in the bath? Is there a risk of pregnancy in such cases? The key to figuring it out comes down to knowing the answer to the question: how long can s***m live?

S***m Lives About 1–2 Days Inside The Female Body
Once the s***m has entered a woman’s va**na, it can survive in the body for a maximum of 24 to 48 hours, though many s***ms die within minutes of entering the va**na. During this time, it has the ability to impregnate the woman.

But S***m Can Live For About 3–5 Days During Ovulation
However,s***ms might live even longer if they are in a favorable environment. For instance, in a place that is moist and warm, they might hang around for 3 to 5 days.
S***ms need moist environment. They dry out quickly. Since ovulation keeps your va**na and cervix moist, s***ms survive longer inside the female body during this period.
This usually happens when there’s enough cervical fluid or mucus to provide the s***ms with nutrition – that is closer to ovulation. In fact, cervical fluid is a reliable indicator of ovulation and can help you plan your pregnancy. However, do note that s***ms living for 5 days is a rarity.
But when there’s no cervical fluid, s***ms dry up and die. Re-adding moisture won’t revive them, either.So, if s***ms linger in the va**na without shimmying up to the upper reproductive tract, they’ll probably last just a few hours

In Rare Cases, S***m Can Live For 7 Days In The Fallopian Tube

To sum up: If you’re not ovulating, s***ms lingering in the va**na last just a few hours. During ovulation, they can live for up to 5 days in the va**na and as long as 7 days in the fallopian tube.
But, in very rare cases, if they end up in the right place – like the fallopian tubes – they can live as long as 7 days. From there, a woman can get pregnant if she has already ovulated. The same goes if she ovulates while the s***m is alive and it manages to pe*****te the egg.
Acidity can also play a role. While the va**na is usually quite acidic, cervical mucus released during ovulation is alkaline. An alkaline environment makes it easy for the s***m to survive. But when there’s little to no cervical mucus, the s***m might last for just a few minutes to a maximum of 48 hours.

S***m Lives For A Few Minutes Outside The Body
When it comes to clothing and other surfaces, the fate of the s***m is a different story. You might be surprised to learn how short-lived it can be. Unlike the human body – which is warm and moist – the environment outside of it isn’t welcoming. Survival can be tough. And once the semen dries out, the s***m loses life and cannot revived.
Survival time can range from a few minutes to a couple hours, depending on the environment’s dryness and hostility. To put things into perspective, survival is rarely beyond a few minutes on dry sheet or clothing. And since semen dries quickly, the lack of moisture instantly kills the s***m.

It Can Last Slightly Longer In Warm Baths
S***ms might last a little longer here. But when other substances are in the water, they will eventually die from osmotic shock – a rapid change in the fluid concentration within the s***m cell. Detergent and soap can totally remove their cell membranes, causing them to explode. So, even when s***ms are moist, the odds are stacked against them when these chemicals are around. They will die almost immediately in these conditions.

It Can Live For 5 Days In A Lab Setting
To sum up: While s***ms last for 5 days in a special lab environment, they dry up and die within a few minutes to a couple hours outside the body. Plain water keeps them alive slightly longer, but soap water kills them right away.
In a lab environment, experts can help the s***m survive longer – 5 days or more. This can be done by removing it from semen and placing it in a humid and warm environment, an ideal scenario for the s***m’s survival. S***m frozen for in vitro fertilization, however, can last a very long time.

How To Make The S***m Live Longer?
While it may not be possible to ensure that your s***m lives longer inside the female body, you can increase your s***m volume and boost your s***m health. Healthier s***m have a better chance of survival and of impregnating. From using ther**eutic herbs to changing certain lifestyle factors.

Now the question is who is a girl child?

Pillars of the future: Our girls are the women of tomorrow. If we want to empower them, we must reduce inequality and gender gaps, and create strong women leaders.

We have to let them live today and raise them to be those leaders of equality and development.

Change-makers: Brigham Young once said, “You educate a man, you educate a man. You educate a woman, you educate a generation.”

Women are naturally more social and thus more inclined to help those around them. By bringing up their daughters with the right values and education, parents can start the change and create a change-maker.

With such strengths that women possess, why should they continue to be treated like minors?

The girls of today are proving themselves equal to boys in every respect. They are distinguishing themselves as achievers in every field, from academics to sport to the professions. They are successfully playing multiple roles in every aspect of life. Ability to multitask is their second nature as would be mothers. Their willpower to develop and help others grow is what can take our society forward and take Africa to a greater destination

Over years different people have tried their very best to change so many people's mentality about the girl child but still, they are being treated like minors in the society and this makes it very hard for so many girls to break out of their shells and showcase themselves as a result of societal imposed bias.

When I think about the girl child, the picture that comes to my mind is that of a Giant in Africa. Only a person who can differentiate a dwarf from giant will know the value of the girl child.
That said, I want to talk about giving birth to a GC in Africa

There is great joy in every family when a girl child arrives but greater joy when it’s a boy , especially to the man of the house. An Igbo man will prefer you give him seven boys to giving him six girls and a boy. Many wives have gone packing due to this mentality and preference of a male child to a girl child. I have seen men reduce or totally deny the love they had for their darling wives due to the inability of giving them a male child, and this makes me shed tears. Children are gift from God and should be treated with equal love regardless.

Secondly let's talk about growing up. When a girl child is growing up in a family this comes with lots of responsibilities .They fetch water, sweep the house, fetch fire woods ,wash clothes ,cook the meal, wash dishes, take care of the other siblings including the boys, and even make sure everything is in order and still go to school for those who are privileged to.

They are victims: The girl child is a victim of so many things in different parts of the world. First let's look at ge***al mutilation. This terrifying practice is highly prevalent in parts of Africa, Asia and it pains me to know that most girls fail to get even minimum protection against this horrific practice.

What about the girl child trafficking for prostitution? Many girls are in different hotels all lined up waiting to be used and dumped by men just to feed and you find out that most of them were actually introduced into such dehumanizing act by some rich men and women who could have single handedly sponsored such girl(s) to any university of their choice. Our girls need education, not s*x! They need protection, not submission. They need love, not lust. They need empowerment, not depression. They need skills, not screwing.

They are victims of r**e. A girl has a restricted movement both during the day and night due to the fear of r**e. For those living in rural areas, going to stream or going into the bush to fetch firewoods is a big problem because most of them have been victims of r**e. It happens even when the girl child is taken in as a maid or house help they still fall victims of r**e in the hands of the madam’s husband occasionally.

Education:in most families,especially in Africa the girl child education is somehow regarded as a waste of time and resources. Especially the unlearned parents they prefer to train the boys who they believe will always be there and useful to them to the girl child who will still get married and retire to the kitchen. And at this juncture , I weep for them. But thank God for ATI, because we are making the difference!

Our Girl Children are victims of early marriage: It’s so bad when a young girl at the age of schooling gets the shock of her life from her parents or ward to go get married and funny enough to a man old enough to be her grand father I mean a young girl of 10-15 getting married to a man of (50-60) years.

Hell no, I stand for firm for girls and I say this is so not acceptable. Worst case scenarios are when these girls go in, you see them being mistreated by the so called husbands. Exposing them to dangers.Some lose their lives at child birth.

Now the big question is, how can we change this scenario, which doesn’t favor the girl child?

Since change begins at home, parents are the best agents of change. They can partner by paying equal attention to both gender in the family and help her find her concentration in the society. Governments have made laws already, what is remaining is effective implementation of these laws. Groups and forums should be created to promote the activities of the girl child. Books should be written, movies should be acted, media should broadcast it, pastors should preach it, teachers should teach it. Infact every organization should have one or two means to promote the girl child,then sit back and watch the world become a better place. Join us today as we stand up for girl child in particular and make a change.

The girl child is not a minor.

The girl child’s education doesn’t end in the kitchen.

The girl child is equal to the boy child.

Every girl needs a classroom to read.

Every girl needs to get on her feet, shake off the dust and follow her dreams.

The girl child needs EDUCATION ,EMPOWERMENT, ENCOURAGEMENT, APPRECIATION, EQUALITY AND SUPPORT.

Ways To Stop Excess Vaginal Discharge

Vaginal discharge, medically known as leucorrhea, can be tricky. For some women, it’s perfectly normal to have it every day, while others only have it once in awhile. Healthy discharge is usually clear, white, and doesn’t cause any irritation. Nothing a panty liner can’t fix! But how do you know it’s become a problem?
Leucorrhea may or may not be a sign of infection. If it is, the color will be yellowish or greenish, compete with a foul odor. Infections will also cause lots of itching and irritation. At the same time, hormonal fluctuations during your cycle might also bring on discharge, as rising estrogen increases exfoliation of the va**nal epithelial cells.
Pay attention to your level of normal discharge. When something seems off, don’t ignore it. A visit to the gynecologist can tell you what’s going on.
