One thing the Gulf taught me: people will judge a chapter of your life they never lived.

They will tell you what you should have done, how you should have behaved, and even how long you should have endured.

But the truth is, they were not there when you were tired. They were not there when you were hurting. They didn't see the things you had to deal with behind closed doors.

So I've learned to stop explaining every decision I make.

You don't have to understand my journey to respect my choices.

I know what I went through. I know why I made the decisions I made. And at the end of the day, I chose myself. ❤️
