Mustard Seed client, Mr Keith Namona, retires from public service and receives a refund of his yearly healthcare contributions. As a senior citizen, he now qualifies for access to free medical services at the Mustard Seed Friendly Medical Center.

An "Anonymus Complainer" went to print media and made allegations against Mustard Seed International (MSI).

The allegations were reported by one, John Houanihau, on front page article of The Island Sun, Issue 5153, Tuesday 28 January 2025.

The Anonymus Complainer threatened legal suit against MSI and personnel. MSI's official response therefore will be forthcoming in court when the Anonymus Complainer formally presents his/her legal case.

MSI denies all allegations referred to by John Houanihau's article. We do not know who the "Anonymus Complainer" is by name. Furthermore, we stand by any decisions we have made and carried out as far as their case is concerned.

MSI will continue to assist and send patients to overseas medical facilities for treatment and healthcare.

MSI maintains unwavering support to our clients and the government of Solomon Islands. We offer affordable, exceptional healthcare options and services.

MSI will not hesitate to seek legal redress against those responsible for publishing and spreading false and upsetting allegations intended to harm, mislead the public and incorrectly portray the organization and its personnel.

Spent Christmas day 25.12.24 with the National Referral Hospital Oncology Department (Cancer Unit) staff and their patients. Thanking God for a wonderful celebration to mark the birth of Jesus Christ - God's gift of love that man shall be saved and a constant reminder that he is with us, lest we forget.

Word of caution to those seeking medical treatment overseas, please understand nothing is free in Philippines, India, Australia or wherever you are sourcing medical assistance at.

Ensure you have enough funds and also when you fundraise please make sure you spend those funds on your medical trip expenses. It is illegal to fundraise and then spend those funds on something else that does not relate to your medical expenses. You are required to be accountable for each dollar donated.

Lastly, do not try to manage your trip alone if this is not your expertise as you could end up delayed, or worse still, falling short on finances far from home.

Tough times don't last, tough people do.
