On Sunday 27th of this month, we Celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ , Our (Pioneers). These are our love ones who have been gone to glory and left their legacy back with us. They fought Forth to upbring the gospel of Jesus Christ in our communities.

These are our own people who have the heart for God and people. They are called by God to first see and creatively respond to the Holy spirit initiatives with those outside the church, gathering others around them as they seek and establish new contextual Christian community.

Today our church here at St Bartholomew @ Kaonasugu has commemorated our Pioneers for their faith and trust in God for what they did in bringing the gospel and keeping the gospel in our Church. We remembered and appreciated their success. They made a way, we follow the way.

Among those Pioneers is my (Our) Grandfather `Peter Wurimauana', and we are so proud to have him not only as our Grandfather, father or brother but as our Chief in our community. His work was remembered and appreciated.
