⚠️ HOT WATER DOES NOT STERILIZE TATTOO NEEDLES - YOUR SAFETY COMES FIRST.
Please always be cautious when choosing where to get a tattoo. Your health and safety should never be compromised for convenience or a cheaper price.
A tattoo needle comes into direct contact with blood and bodily fluids, so proper sterilization and infection control are extremely important. Hot water, boiling, or simply soaking a used needle does not make it safe for use on another person.
For every client, make sure you ask questions and pay attention to the hygiene practices being used. A new, sterile, single-use tattoo needle should be opened in front of you whenever possible. Other reusable equipment must be properly cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized using appropriate professional equipment and procedures.
Don’t be afraid to ask:
- Are you using a fresh, sterile needle?
- How are reusable instruments sterilized?
- Can I see the sterile packaging before you start?
- Are fresh gloves and clean supplies being used?
A professional tattoo should not only look good , it should be done safely and hygienically.
Your skin, your health, and your trust matter. ❤️
