We’re so excited to officially announce our FIRST In-Person Tea Making Class this Summer with 3ive Apothecary 🌿🍵✨
Did you know recent studies found that a single plastic tea bag can release up to 11.6 BILLION microplastic particles into one cup of tea? 😳 Most people aren’t realizing it’s often the tea bags themselves — not the herbs — contributing to the problem. ([ScienceInsights][1])
That’s exactly why we’re teaching our community how to make beautiful, intentional loose leaf tea blends at home the traditional way. Real herbs. Real wellness. Real connection.
And if you still love the convenience of tea bags, don’t worry — we’ll also be sharing healthier reusable options like bamboo or stainless steel infusers for your daily rituals ♻️
Everything feels better when it’s homemade…
especially your healing. 🌱

Our **Clove Mint Oral Tincture** was crafted to support a clean, balanced mouth environment while refreshing your breath naturally. Clove has long been used to soothe oral discomfort and support gum health, while mint brings that crisp, cooling finish you actually feel. This isn’t just about freshness—it’s about tending to your mouth in a way that aligns with the body as a whole.
Paired with that, the **Unwind Elixir** is your invitation to slow down. Made with 100% Ashwagandha, this formula is designed to support the nervous system, helping the body adapt to stress, regulate mood, and encourage deeper rest. Whether your days are full, demanding, or energetically heavy, this is a gentle way to come back into balance.
Two different formulas. One shared intention: supporting your body with plants that know what to do.
Add them to your daily rhythm and feel the shift 🌿
Watch our Lead Herbalist make our signature Rose Water Misting Spray 🌹
Rose is one of the plants I return to for skin that needs hydration, balance, and calm. It’s a natural humectant, meaning it helps draw moisture into the skin and hold it there—leaving the skin soft, plump, and supported without heaviness.
At the same time, it’s deeply soothing. Rose helps calm inflammation, reduce visible redness, and bring balance to overactive oil production. So whether the skin is dry, irritated, or producing excess oil, this is one of those plants that meets it gently and brings it back into alignment.
It also carries natural antioxidants that support the skin barrier and protect against environmental stress, along with a mild toning effect that refines the look of pores without stripping the skin.
Simple, effective, and rooted in tradition.
This is how I prepare rose water—slowly, intentionally, and in a way that honors both the plant and the skin it’s meant to support.
🌿 Let’s talk MULLEIN 🌿
One of herbalism’s most misunderstood yet deeply reliable plants.
In clinical herbalism, mullein (Verbascum thapsus) is best known as a lung + tissue healer, but the part of the plant matters.
🍃 Mullein LEAF — soft, fuzzy, powerful
We use the leaves primarily for respiratory and inflammatory support.
Medicinal actions of the leaf:
• Expectorant — helps loosen and move stuck mucus
• Demulcent — soothes irritated tissues
• Anti-inflammatory — calms inflamed airways
• Antispasmodic — eases coughing fits
• Mild nervine — supports stress held in the chest
• Lymphatic — helps move stagnation in the lungs
Common herbal uses for the leaf:
• Dry or wet cough
• Chest congestion
• Bronchitis
• Asthma support
• Smoke or pollution exposure
• Upper respiratory irritation
🌱 Mullein ROOT — grounded, structural medicine
The root works differently. We use it for deep nerve + musculoskeletal support, especially where weakness or compression is present.
Medicinal actions of the root:
• Nervine tonic — supports nerve integrity
• Anti-inflammatory — reduces deep tissue inflammation
• Analgesic — eases pain
• Astringent — tones tissues
• Vulnerary — supports tissue repair
Common herbal uses for the root:
• Lower back pain
• Sciatic nerve pain
• Spinal or disc-related discomfort
• Muscle weakness
• Pelvic floor support
• Old injuries with lingering nerve pain
✨ Same plant. Different parts. Different medicine.
That’s herbalism.

Mullein (Verbascum thapsus)
Is an herb we are very familiar with in our apothecary. We’ve grown it from seed, identified it in the wild and studied it in true Materia Medica fashion .
Mullein is an herb our ancestors knew had what our lungs needed for support, to sooth a cough, to relieve chest congestion.
In one study with over 90 herbs, it was concluded that Mullein is top 3 for nutritional value. It provides calcium and magnesium in abundance , as well as flavonoids, saponins, tannins, terpenoids, glycosides, carbohydrates, proteins, fats and oils.
It contains about 3% Mucilage , a gelatinous substance that soothes an irritated mucus membrane with its emollient properties.
Our Respiratory Support Tincture features mullein, a plant long respected in traditional herbal practices for its relationship with the lungs and breath.
Thoughtfully extracted to preserve the plant’s natural properties, this tincture is designed to support respiratory comfort and seasonal wellness as part of an intentional, plant-based routine.
Mullein has been traditionally used to soothe the respiratory tract and support the body during times of environmental exposure, seasonal shifts, or vocal and energetic strain. Its gentle nature makes it a foundational ally in respiratory-focused herbal care.
Crafted in small batches with ethically sourced mullein, this tincture reflects our commitment to ancestral knowledge, reverence for the plants, and slow, intentional preparation.
