Eyeviser

On 23 September, we held a booth for LEGO employees. We tested the sharpness of their vision, and checked for signs of macular degeneration.

One young male employee who never wore glasses before was found to have issues with his central vision, and we were glad to have detected it early.

Do you experience blurry vision or floaters in your vision?

Every paid eye exam or eyewear supports the same for persons with disabilities, special needs or in financial need.

And that’s a wrap! Across August and September, we conducted comprehensive eye exams for more than 200 IQVIA employees, both at their office and at our eyecare centre in Lengkok Bahru.

Good vision is essential for clinical examinations, lab work and screen-intensive tasks that employees engage in so it was great to give employees insight into their eye health!

On 27 August, we set up a booth to conduct eye screenings for Grand Hyatt Singapore employees.

Our optometrist performed various tests to detect signs of eye disease for those who opted for the eye health screening, including retinal imaging, cornea and eyelid examination and eye pressure.

She also conducted prescription checks for those interested in making glasses.

We were delighted by the enthusiastic participation and cheerful attitude from those we served 🥳

We hope the employees who have done their comprehensive eye exam with us are proud of their commitment to their eye health!

Last Saturday on 29 Aug, Eyeviser had the pleasure of carrying out eyecare education and eye screenings for caregivers and their loved ones with special needs or disabilities, as part of CaringSG Family Day.

For persons with disabilities and special needs, the regular visual acuity test can be challenging. For those who are nonverbal, we used pictures and asked them to match the pictures to the ones on the iPad. 🏠

Some participants took on the challenge of walking the zigzag line blindfolded, while others thought colouring was more their speed. We hope the participants had a fun time and gained valuable insights on caring for their eyes! 👀

Even though it took a longer time and considerable effort for us to complete the eye checks for persons with special needs, we were glad to give them clarity on the state of their vision.

Last week, Eyeviser conducted comprehensive eye screenings at two Air Liquide locations.

Our team screened employees for eye conditions such as dry eyes, blepharitis and eye diseases such as cataract and glaucoma.

Some employees mentioned seeing floaters in their vision, which can be caused by ageing or may be a sign of a retinal issue.

If you experience floaters very frequently or there is an increase of floaters in your vision, please do a comprehensive eye exam to check your retina and the inside of your eyes.

Last Friday, Eyeviser was honoured to be one of 5 other social enterprises showcasing our work at the Launch of Ventures with Impact Living Lab (VWILL) by ThinkX Global at Staytion Dhoby Ghaut!

Delighted to meet new partners and esteemed guests, including the Guest of Honour Madam Halimah Yacob, and share more about how we bring quality and affordable eyecare to the underserved.

We are looking forward to being part of the growing social enterprise ecosystem and scaling our impact at scale!

On 12 August, we conducted comprehensive eye health screenings for Crocs Singapore employees, and screened their stylish Crocs as well!

With our mobile setup, we checked their visual acuity, eye pressure, retinas and corneas to detect signs of eye diseases and conditions.

We hope those who have done their comprehensive eye exam with us are proud of both their commitment to their eye health and their fashionable footwear!

Last Wednesday, we conducted comprehensive eye health screenings for nearly 100 employees at Nomura. This was our 5th year screening Nomura employees.

It was a pleasure to give the employees at Nomura key insights into their eye health, and ensure those who have suspected eye conditions are referred for further assessment. 👀

We look forward to supporting more workplaces with their employees' eye health!

We set up our booth at Bastille Day Singapore last Saturday 🇫🇷

We ran free visual acuity tests, an interactive eye health quiz, and met many families from the wonderful French community in Singapore 🫂

One thing we noticed: a lot of parents haven’t checked their child’s eye health for a while.

Vision changes fast between ages 4 and 12, often with no obvious signs.

If your child hasn’t had an eye check this year, now’s a good time.

For $49, we test for common eye conditions such as Myopia, Lazy Eye, Squint, Depth Perception and Colour Vision.

Our inclusive eyecare centre is sensory-friendly, spacious and has a kids corner to accommodate children of all needs.

WhatsApp us @88501568 to book a screening for your child or yourself!

Is your child struggling to see the whiteboard in class?

Or spending hours on screens every day?

Many vision problems go unnoticed for years. Kids rarely complain until it affects their schoolwork.

A kids eye screening tells you exactly where your child stands. It tests for common eye conditions such as Myopia, Lazy Eye, Squint, Depth Perception and Colour Vision.

Get it for a limited period at $49 at The Eyecare Village by Eyeviser (Enabling Village), $75 for a more comprehensive eye examination.
