These dogs are ex-breeding dogs who have spent much of their lives in a very different environment. They are not toilet-trained or leash-trained yet, so adopters must be patient and willing to teach them the basics of being a family dog.

• Date of birth documented
• No adoption fee

🐾 DANTE IS HOME! ❤️

Dante underwent surgery yesterday at Beecroft for his left hip and leg and has now been discharged. He is recovering at his foster home. ❤️‍🩹

His hip had healed abnormally after an old injury, and he also has Grade 3 patella issues in both knees. It will be a long road to recovery, but we’re thankful he is finally getting the treatment he needs. 🙏🏻

Dante is one of the dogs who will benefit directly from our 2027 GentlepAws calendar sales. Every calendar sold helps us pay for his surgery, recovery and the medical needs of our other dogs. 🐶❤️

🐾 Dawn — Grade 3 luxating patella.

🐾 Dasher — Grade 4 luxating patella. His femurs will also need to be shortened, and surgery should be done as soon as possible to help him walk more normally.

🐾 Dante — His left hip healed abnormally after an injury, leaving the hip at an abnormal angle. He also has Grade 3 patella issues in both knees. His left paw now turns outwards because of the inverted hip. He is scheduled for surgery on his left leg and hip TODAY. ❤️‍🩹
