It involves cooking at home , so preparing meals at home saves money compared to eating out. Today I'll share you my Sunday kosi meal that l cooked at home.

Today I'm going to share you a Success Story: Eating Healthy on a Budget;

Sipho Dlamini, a Graphic Design student at Limkokwing University, found himself struggling to balance a tight budget with the need for nutritious meals. The high cost of living in Mbabane and the demanding nature of his course made it easy to resort to cheap, unhealthy fast food. This lifestyle left him feeling sluggish and affected his creativity and academic performance.

One day, during a campus wellness day, Sipho attended a session on “Healthy Eating on a Budget.” Inspired, he decided to change his lifestyle by making affordable yet healthy choices.

Sipho’s Strategy for Success:

1. Meal Planning:
He started planning his meals weekly to avoid unnecessary spending. He focused on affordable, versatile ingredients like beans, lentils, and seasonal vegetables.

2. Cooking in Bulk:
Sipho prepared large portions of healthy meals, such as vegetable stews and stir-fries, which he stored in reusable containers to last several days.

3. Shopping Smart:

He bought staples like rice, maize meal, and dried beans from local markets.

He shopped for fresh produce at the Mbabane Market, where prices were lower than supermarkets.

4. Campus Collaboration:
Sipho and a group of friends created a “Healthy Cooking Club,” where they pooled resources to buy ingredients and cooked meals together, reducing costs and fostering teamwork.

5. DIY Snacks:
Instead of buying expensive snacks, Sipho learned to make his own, such as popcorn, roasted peanuts, and fruit salads.

Results:

Within a semester, Sipho noticed a remarkable improvement. His energy levels increased, his skin cleared up, and his creativity flourished. His professors even commended him for the renewed vibrancy in his designs.

Today, Sipho is an advocate for healthy eating on a budget at Limkokwing.

Goodmorning,today we have Fresh potatoes from the garden,you can use potatoes to make a mash potato in replacement of eating porridge since we are practicing eating healthy,getting fresh potatoes from the nearest garden helps in cutting cost of traveling to town and buying expensive potatoes from the stores in town, you can also grow your own potatoes. EATING HEALTHY ON A BUDGET IS VERY IMPORTANT.

Good afternoon, today we are showcasing how you can actually grown your own Vegetables at the back of your house,you don't need a big place to grow them just a small portion of land you are good to go, i trust we will now practice growing our own vegetables and eat healthy because it budget friendly and does not do any harm to anyone's bank balance,it also recuires less time as you can see i took only few seconds to do it. Hi guys
I recorded an individual's meal, and they told me that eating healthy doesn't necessarily mean you have to buy expensive food, instead you should be able to substitute some meals with others. For example, mince can be substituted with wors, and there someone may have a healthy delicious meal.
"With just a simple play around food stuffs you can have healthy meals".
