Gm. As women we tend to absorb a lot of what ppl give us. Most times we also give a lot to others (we are naturally givers) and dangerously we tend to then create expectations from others and how they should treat us. No one owes us kindness or even love. People can only give you what they are. Not who you see them to be or want them to be or think they should be. No one owes us anything regardless of how nice we choose to be, tht is why only you can owe it to yourself to give yourself what you deserve. Pour and pour generously into your own cup and only when you are overflowing can you pour into another’s. Take care of yourself, treat yourself, take time for yourself and give yourself what you need. Don’t put your happiness and wellness in the hands of another. Claim it and Live it!
