I’ve seen it and I’ve heard it, but I’m here to tell you(the tech) you need to start cleaning your workplace + tools. lients, you need to run if your tech isn’t cleaning their space or disinfecting their tools or not even licensed.
No matter if you’re doing this on friends/family as a hobby or professionally, your workplace needs to be presentable and not full of dust, clipped nails, dirty towels, etc.
You need to properly clean your tools with barbicide. Anything that drops on the floor needs to be thrown away or disinfected. Your towels should be cleaned for every client. Your table and LED lamps should be wiped down and so much more.
It is also so so important to go to a tech that is licensed and trained in proper disinfection. If they are a home based tech, make sure they are licensed, there is a separate entrance into their business. It is illegal, not safe, + just wrong to be charging clients without a personal and business license.

when your client comes in with inspo, it’s personally my favorite, but sometimes we don’t always have exactly what we need in order to do the exact same thing and it’s okay that it’s different!
I used to be so hard on myself when I didn’t have everything I need to make it perfect, but that’s the best part about nail art, you can make it uniquely yours💗

High quality products aren’t cheap and I’m always happy to spend and find the best of the best for my clients. You deserve the BEST💗
I try to always be transparent within my business. There’s always conversations of nail technicians charging too much for what you’re receiving. Which is totally understandable. You should search for a nail tech who cares about your nail health by using high quality products AND continues their education so you can leave with your dream nails💗

how silly of me to be so scared?
I opened Lush almost 3 years ago & if I could go back and hug 25 year old me and tell her the woman she would become, the toxic relationship she would leave, the business she would build, the clients she’d call her best friends, & the relationship she’d build with God. I don’t think I’d ever believe myself.
I opened Lush Aesthetics to create a space that people felt comfortable in and that feels more than just a service. I was told I couldn’t build a business from ground zero with a handful of clients. So to everyone who didn’t believe in me(yall ain’t in my life for a reason) you can suck it😂 Lush Aesthetics is growing more and more, I can’t wait to see where I’ll be at the end of the year💗
