This year has been one of the biggest blessings in disguise.

There was a season where I walked away from it all. I quit. I gave away all of my color, foils, and supplies because I truly believed becoming a stay-at-home mom was the path I was meant to take. At the time, I felt lost. I didn’t know what I wanted anymore. I questioned myself, felt alone, and wondered if I was starting over for nothing.

When I decided to come back behind the chair, I was starting completely from scratch at a new salon with no clients. It was humbling, scary, and uncertain.

Looking back now, I realize I didn’t need to quit—I just needed to breathe. I needed time to reset, to rediscover my passion, and to remember why I fell in love with this career in the first place.

Starting over has brought me more than I ever imagined. I’ve met some truly incredible women who have encouraged me, inspired me. I’ve gained confidence, grown in my knowledge, and found a deeper appreciation for the work I get to do every day.

If you’re in a season where you feel lost or like you’re starting over, don’t be afraid to trust the process. Sometimes the most beautiful chapters begin when you think you’ve reached the end of the story.

Here’s to growth, second chances, and trusting God’s timing. 🤍
