Hello everyone. I have some news…….
My husband and I have decided to move to Saint Simons full time. My last day in the salon will be on my birthday, August 22. I figured the best way for me to celebrate is to be in the space I’ve considered home for so long.
This new chapter doesn’t mean “goodbye”, just “see you later” without hair tools in my hands.
I have to say this was by far one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. I started as an assistant when I was 19 and a stylist when I was 20. I got to spend 35 years with the most amazing people. You all have become my framily. We have been through just about every high and low that life could bring our way. Like a marriage, we have even been there until death did us part.
I can never truly express my gratitude for the trust, love and loyalty you have bestowed upon me. I hope you all felt it and more in return. I will continue to keep up with you, pray for you and hope that you will come visit us. I plan on coming back periodically so maybe some of you would like to spill the tea to me like old times. Some of you have been the longest relationships I’ve ever had and I will forever be grateful for them all.
If you all could do me one small favor… will you drop a special memory or funny story in the comment section? It will get me through the tears that I know I will continue to fight back.

Hello everyone! May has been extremely busy. I’ll be finishing out the month with 10-12 hr days. I will not have any availability until Mid June and will not be answering messages aka booking appointments while I’m out of the country. If you want to get in before the 4th of July please contact me before May 30th. After that I will not be back in the salon until June 11th and am already booked that week when I return. Thank you in advance.

Hello everyone! It’s that time of year again. May aka mayhem month is approaching. Please schedule now as it’s the busiest month outside of December. It is graduation season, Mother’s Day and Memorial weekend. I will be gone April 30th through May 6th. Then again on June 1st through the 10th. I have back up stylists located within Sola that can care for you if needed during those times. Thank you in advance for planning in advance.

Hello! I wanted to let everyone know that I will be taking a week off at Easter, the first weekend in May and 10 days the end of May beginning of June. I will also be attempting to take every other Saturday off starting in April. Easter is April 5 so please schedule now if you want to get coiffed beforehand. Mother’s Day is May 10th and then it’s graduation season. Spring is one of the busiest times of the year for stylists so PLEASE make your appointments now. Thank you!

I will be putting out several new Cannon Collar necklaces tomorrow. Inventory is very limited and most pieces are almost sold out online. Come by and get your hands on one before they are gone.

Happy New Year everyone! My apologies for being delayed in touching base with everyone. I hit the ground running on Jan 2nd and haven’t stopped since. I wanted to update everyone on my upcoming schedule. I will be off February 15th through the 19th. My goal is to take 5-6 consecutive days off once a month moving forward in order to spend time with my grandson. I will also be off May 31st through June 10th to enjoy a long overdue vacation with my husband. Per usual I am urging everyone to prebook as my plan this year is to lighten my load. I have decided to not hire another assistant so I will be taking less clients each day which means I will be booking up faster. Thank you!

Wrapped up the holiday season. Thank you all for the thoughtful gifts, cards, extra cash etc. You all mean so much to me. It’s hard to believe we’ve completed another year together.
