I'm going to blame it on ADHD this time... I waited until the last minute to color my hair before a Natulique class tomorrow morning 😬 I also didn't notice I didn't have the color I was planning on using, so let's mix some stuff and see how it turns out! If it sucks, it's too late to fix it now 😂 Hopefully we can camouflage some of these grays! I'll keep you posted!

The captions stopped working midway through but I wanted to let you all know what's going on. I'm going to take a little bit of time off in order to make some adjustments, implement some systems, do some education, and get my home in order. I I've been approaching burnout for a while now and I just really needed to do something about it. I took these almost 2 weeks off months ago, because it was the first time I had. I appreciate you all filling the books and have enjoyed all the new faces. But in order to take care of you in the best way, I have to also take care of myself. ❤️ Can't wait to come back better than ever!

Birthday hair for my bff 😍

As a stylist, maintenance on our tools and equipment are non-negotiable, but omgahh sometimes it makes me want to throw up!

Ok, first of all, her hair still looked great! This is what happens when you get a cut tailored to your texture and curl pattern and also take care of it at home! It was just time to make it shorter for school.

And this is why I like to cut hair in its natural state so I can see how it lies and also work with different curl patterns throughout your hair.

She is still in elementary school, so we don't want to add too too many layers where she can't pull it up and do cute styles and braids.

We will always go over your usual daily life. If you like braids or if you like to pull everything back, etc, some hairstyles might not be a great fit for you, no matter how cute that picture is. If you straighten all the time (please stop), cutting based on your individual curls might also not be what's best. Consultations are always free if you have questions about which cutting style is best for you!

Here, I strive for the best I can do. My life systems plan has this on my monthly to do list. Should I do it more? Yes, however, sometimes half-assed is better than none at all. My ADHD brain and Mom overload can only handle so much. I don't wear makeup every day, but getting the dopamine from checking that off helps make my day a tiny bit better ❤️
