Today, it’s official.

After 23 years and 10 months of renting, I am beyond grateful to say that we are now the owners of the beautiful 145-year-old home that has been the heart of Serendipity Salon & Co. for so many years.

As I sit here reflecting, I can’t help but think about God’s faithfulness. There were seasons when this dream felt so far away. There were moments of uncertainty, obstacles, prayers, and times I wondered how everything would come together. But through every challenge, God continued to make a way.

This house is more than just a building. For nearly 24 years it has been filled with laughter, tears, celebrations, life-changing conversations, friendships, and countless prayers. It has been a place where people came for beauty on the outside but often left with encouragement, hope, and love for the inside.

To my incredible employees, especially those who have walked beside me for decades thank you. Your loyalty, dedication, friendship, and love have helped build more than a business. Together we’ve created a family. I could never have reached this milestone without each of you.

To our amazing clients and our wonderful community, thank you for believing in us, supporting us, referring your family and friends, and allowing us to be part of your lives for all these years. You have laughed with us, cried with us, celebrated milestones with us, and trusted us through every season. We are forever grateful.

This journey started with a dream that God placed on my heart years ago. Today is proof that His timing is always perfect. If you’re holding onto a dream that seems impossible, don’t give up. Keep praying. Keep working. Keep believing. Stay faithful even when you can’t see the outcome. God can open doors no one else can open, and what seems delayed is not denied.

Today, we celebrate not just purchasing a historic 145 year old home, but the faithfulness of God over every year, every prayer, every challenge, and every blessing.

This is not the end of the story it’s the beginning of a new chapter. I cannot wait to see what God has in store for Serendipity Salon & Co., our team, and our community.
