Empress’d Nails

I recreated a design I saw on Pinterest but put my own little spin on it! [Shout out to the original artist]
This is the longest I've let my natural nails grow, the thumb nail about sent me but the fuzzy dice and olives are my favorite. The pinky with the little A's had me sweating a bit too 😅.

So there was a bit of an incident with one nail and another broke in between fills... but the rest held up well enough 🫣😅

We decided to do a Snoopy x Woodstock set to kick off fall with a bit of cateye and 3d action.

I swear my baby cousin be putting my lil charms n trinkets to work 🤣 Don't ask me how many times I stabbed myself either. Had to custom mix the acrylic too, but I am not mad about it.

It was time for a nail refresh and a change in shape!

She said Zodiac, Lion, and Constellations and I was like cool 🤣Grabbed my cheap nail inks from amazon, blooming gel, chrome and went to work. Its alot going on with these but she's 100% happy with them so thats a win in my book! Ive been doing her nails since 2021 yall and her natural nails give me life every time 🤌🏾

If anyone has any recommendations for structure gels please let me know. Her nails curve inward big time and I struggled building them corners to make them a bit more square with ibd builder gel.

Now that im thinking about it ...should've made the thumb nail " Who's that pokemon? !' And have the pokemon appear with magic 🤣🤣 Maybe next time haha.

Finally had a free moment so I did my dominant and non dominant hand. They dont match but the fact that they're both done at the same time is an accomplishment [iykyk 😆]Ive been itching to paint something on these nails and these pokemon were the lucky few.

Fun fact : I fell in love with Ghost pokemon clearing the Pokémon Tower in Fire Red. The overall design of the tower and the amount of pokeballs spent was absolutely insane though,ngl.

As with most my art, I used the palettes.

Finally got around to finishing this hand. The good thing about practice sets are just that. Practice 🤣 Try new things, see what fits and what doesn't. And just having fun. I think I'll do things a bit differently next time though .
