Haus Apothecary was born out of the desire to see people’s skin blessed by simple, quality ingredients from the Earth.
It’s been a while since I’ve shown up on here… and I wish it wasn’t with this news.
After nearly 2 years of building my booth at Painted Tree here in Austin, I found out yesterday that they are closing their doors nationwide and filing for bankruptcy.
It was such a blessing to have a space to grow and learn how to do business in a brick and mortar. I adored having my own little corner of Austin for local customers. While my bookshelf may have looked small, it made up over half of my revenue last year and was a complete gamechanger for my business.
To have it all come to an end so quickly is something I’m still processing.
Right now, so many Painted Tree vendors across the country are navigating the same thing, so if you can, support small businesses in any way you’re able 🤍
My online shop is still OPEN, and I’ll be adding inventory over the next few days that was previously only available in-store.
To all those who shopped my booth and bookshelves, thank you from the bottom of my heart!
This may be the end of my Painted Tree chapter, but it’s not the end of the story.
