Chico Veal refurbished a recreation vehicle, packed up his barbering tools and hit the streets of Austin Texas as Edge Productions, the first licensed mobile barbershop in Texas. Barbering rules setting out the responsibilities of mobile shops were adopted in 2008, but it wasn't until 2009 the first application was received and a permit issued by TDLR.
