When you have abundance, you give more help.
When you don’t have abundance, you ask for help.

This year for our eldest Orion’s birthday, he requested a family experience with just us. He said no birthday party, not even a sleepover.

We camped out in Wimberley at the Blue Hole Regional Park this last weekend. Making great memories, highs and lows. You know how it goes!😅

Some of my favorite moments were river races on the Frio, the boys Tarzan and Spider-Man swinging off the rope swings while Ava and I dipped our toes in that realm lol (hand to God, after having kids it altered my tree climbing and rope swinging courage) it’s like I literally fight my instincts every time I do anything risky now.

Evening family poker at the camp, laughter and play, all of us practicing our handstands and cartwheels on the grassy knoll, little walkabouts in nature and simply standing in woods at Dawn catching the much welcomed breezes.. 🌬️

Was it hot?! Yes, it was. Orion said, we really take for granted our AC😆 We’ve narrowed it down that the best time to camp in Central Texas is early October to early November. Last year, we did a Thanksgiving camp out and we froze our butts off at night. Gotta find that sweet spot.

Truthfully, we did not take many pictures at all. It was very much in the moment, active presence in nature type of trip🌳 My preference for camping.

I strongly feel the absolute need to Unplug to Recharge & Reconnect back in Nature☀️

I made it back to San Diego♥️🌴
I guess my Summer Vacations aren’t quite over yet😉 Here helping my twinsie take care of my adorable nephew, Adriel while she’s back in the classroom👩🏽‍🏫
