July 15 means a lot to me.

It’s the day I hung up my Marine Corps uniform in 2017… and the day this little soap company officially got its start.

I traded my rifle and pack for tallow and lye, but the mission stayed the same: show up, do the hard work, and take care of your people.

Every bar, balm, and tin that leaves this shop is made with that same mentality – attention to detail, pride in the work, and a refusal to cut corners.

Most people apply too much tallow balm and think it feels greasy. But unlike water‑diluted lotions, our Heritage Balm is pure, concentrated nourishment.

Here’s how to apply it correctly:

1) Start with clean, damp skin, not dry.

2) Use a pea‑sized amount (less than you think you need).

3) Warm it between your fingertips for 5–10 seconds.

4) Press it into your skin instead of rubbing aggressively.

5) Let it absorb for 2–3 minutes before dressing.

6) Reapply only on stubborn areas like knuckles, elbows, and heels.

A little goes a long way because tallow is concentrated, not watered down like lotion. Simple, hardworking skincare that actually works.

Most people have never used a real tallow bar. Here's how to get the most out of yours. 🧼

Tallow soap is pure, traditional skincare. It does not behave like chemical-filled synthetic bars. To get the best out of your Heritage Bar, follow these steps:

1) Wet skin thoroughly with warm water.

2) Lather the bar between your hands. Do not rub the bar directly on your face.

3) Apply the rich lather in circular motions.

4) Rinse with cool water.

5) Pat dry. Do not rub.

6) Follow with tallow balm while skin is still slightly damp.

Hard (Well) water tip: You might notice mild soap scum. This is normal. Traditional soap lacks synthetic chemicals, so pure tallow naturally binds to calcium and magnesium in hard water. It is proof of raw, uncompromised purity.
