I use more jojoba oil because it’s technically a wax ester, it helps create that smooth, non-greasy texture.
Plus, it’s one of the more sustainable oils out there, it’s grown in the U.S. and doesn’t need much water to grow.

Looks like we’ve survived winter! 😐 I’ve been hanging in there, winter had its ups and downs. My dog had a rough time with a ligament tear that needs surgery, and our home had renovations. On top of that, I had some medical stuff going on - turns out I’m one of those people who takes forever to bounce back from anesthesia. Still figuring out why. But, the warmer weather is giving me hope, and ideas💡
Exciting news - I’m launching a new product soon! Green tea and rose tallow, inspired by my own skincare journey. I used to swear by green tea products for brighter skin, so I thought, why not infuse it into tallow? :)

Sometimes the best skincare is simple.
Healthy skin relies on a strong moisture barrier. One way to support that barrier is by using occlusive ingredients that help slow water loss from the skin.
Minimal formulas can be especially helpful for sensitive or reactive skin because there are fewer potential irritants.
Simple, intentional skincare will always be part of what I believe in. 🌿
For those that are new here, I have chronic illness that has shaped every aspect of my life.
A lot of people seem to be interested in my hardware removal surgery so I thought I would share again my story.
