After a long week of filling orders and mommy not feeling her best. I intentionally made today simple but special. I chose to celebrate me, with my kiddos, and a picnic in the park. We all make sacrifices for my purpose. Today was about all of us. We are just missing daddy.

Pop needed some extra love after his bath .
He gets in my bed. I’m ready for cuddles ok! I get all comfortable. After a few minutes I could tell by his body language that he didn’t want me to touch him. So I ask him if he wanted to be alone.
His response: yes. But can you come back when I’m ready to cuddle again?
Me : yes I sure will.
🥹 I wanted the cuddles but I’m happy he was comfortable telling me he wanted space. Now to work on helping him express it when he feels it. 💪🏾

Researching and learning my childrens birth chart has really helped me understand, help, and gauge their changes. Usually when something is new with them I was already expecting it would happen thanks to the chart and I had time to prepare and equip my self with the tools I felt I’d need to support them. Learning your children DEEPLY can help you tweak and mold your parenting style and cater it to your children. We need all the tools we can get. •

Connect with them first. Some kids more connection than others. My daughter and son are use to cuddles while we talk. It makes it feel for casual and laid back. I make them feel like WE are gonna fix it vs. making them feel alone. They Are KIDS. It’s up to us to REDIRECT their behavior.

Be gentle with people you never know what they may be going through.
