Please keep Baltimore and all those battling addiction in your prayers. Thursdays mass overdose has my heart so heavy. People judge, but each man and woman addicted had dreams and aspirations of being someone greater. Each are still loved by God, and their families love and miss them.
May God cover them and those of us working to combat this challenging and prevalent issue.
Thank you to my amazing team that stood alongside me and many others as the recent Level 1 incident unfolded before our eyes. Even with the recent budget cuts these Beacons of Hope show up everyday knowing they have to do more with less, and I thank each of them.
On Thursday we went from the office to the streets, to the emergency rooms and back to the streets after hours. May God continue to strengthen each of us so that we may continue to do His will. Ms. Payne, Leslie, Asia, Michele, and Steven, I could not ask for a more dedicated support team.

For people who want to know why all lightrail services will be suspended effective Friday, December 8th. They are providing FREE shuttle rides.
Light rail services to be suspended starting Friday Maryland Transit Administration officials said Light Rail services will be suspended in order to expedite inspections and repairs following a fire incident.
