Every now and then, someone shares a story that makes a simple idea hit differently.
Richard shared something with me I won’t forget.
He said when he first heard “Dream it. Believe it. Do it. Be it.”…
it immediately took him back to something his mother used to say:
“From tiny acorns… do mighty oak trees grow.”
At the time, it sounded simple.
But the older he got, the more he understood what it really meant.
He told me about a weighted sled at the gym—
how he could barely push it when he started.
Now? Over 450 pounds.
Same man.
Different capacity.
Not overnight.
Just consistency.
That’s what this message is really about.
Keeping the main thing the main thing… and growing into it.

People Need People!
Happy Anniversary! On this day, 30 years ago(whew..time passes quickly), Nordstrom signed a purchase order to buy a product I created-the Shu-Sok-Umb bag. That one transaction changed the trajectory of my life in so many ways; too many to mention here.
Most importantly, it taught me that no one is self-made. No one! One might be self-motivated, self-inspired; but not self-made.
People need people! To achieve any measure of success requires someone to give you your first break, to take a chance on you, to buy your product, or use your services.
A shout out to all who helped make the Shu-Sok-Umb bag a success. And a big thank you to Nordstrom.
