Only using products with ingredients you can pronounce is…tricky. And this is one of the easier ones…
Common names for ingredients are often not their official names. The ingredient list of “natural” products includes lots of words most of us aren’t pronouncing without a little…help. Just like synthetic ingredients.
Natural ingredients are also absolutely processed. And you want them that way. Ever tried to moisturize your skin with shea nuts? It doesn’t work. Don’t ask me how I know…

Whew. It’s been quite the run the last few weeks.
Starting a business on your own is not for the faint of heart, that’s for sure.
Founder. Entrepreneur. Words that we make sound big and important. But it’s all just life. We pick our poison and our dessert, and move.
Fortunately, I’ve got some great people willing to listen and talk me off the ledge on occasion, and dogs that remind me nonstop that this whole life is a bit of a silly endeavor anyway.
One foot, then the next. We got this.
You’re filthy, but you pack light.
This bar was made for the backcountry, and your skin. Traditional soaps have a high pH that can be harsh on soil, and can leave your skin feeling stripped. This bar ain’t that. Unlike soap, NOT Soap performs beautifully in cold water too!
Made tiny on purpose, a pack includes 4 bars – each bar weighing just 20 grams!
The unscented version (Backcountry Bars) is great for the outdoors when utilizing Leave No Trace principles; we’ve also got a scented version that’s killer for travel and for your gym bag.
It’s concentrated, so a little goes a long way. One little bar can last up to two weeks, depending on usage.
