So, I just washed my hair and here's what happened…

I used my Evolve shampoo — the one I have for either Gentle or Smart Curls — and I was completely out of conditioner. 😳

So I thought, Well… I guess we're just shampooing today! 😂

I honestly expected my hair to be dry, frizzy, or just generally unhappy with me. But when I looked at it after washing…

NO FRIZZ.
NO CRAZINESS.
It actually looked GOOD! 😲🙌

Now, I haven't brushed it yet, so let's not get too cocky. 😂 I'm thinking the REAL test will be what happens when the brush enters the picture!

I do have a leave-in conditioner if I need it, so I'm not completely without backup. 😉 But I'm pretty impressed that my hair is behaving this well after shampooing without conditioner.

Would I do this every time? Probably not! 😂 I still like my conditioner and the softness and manageability it gives my hair.

But this little accidental experiment was a pleasant surprise — and a reminder that sometimes our hair can surprise us!

🐾 MISTY’S TAKE ON TAI CHI 🐾

This morning, I was doing my Tai Chi, and of course, Misty was right there watching me. 👀💚

I think she was trying to keep up… or possibly help me! 😂

But then she decided she had a better idea.

She got out her little doggie toy and basically said:

“Oh, so you want to exercise? I’ll give you some exercise! Let’s play FETCH!” 🐶🧸

And I’m pretty sure her plan was:

➡️ I throw the toy.
➡️ She brings it back.
➡️ I bend over to pick it up.
➡️ Repeat.
➡️ Repeat again.
➡️ And again. 😂

“See, Mom? This will give you plenty of bending AND help your pitching arm!” ⚾🐾🤣

So apparently, I now have a personal Tai Chi coach AND a personal fetch trainer. 😆💚

I have to admit… she may be onto something.

Whenever Misty and I are walking by Toby’s stairs, she will sometimes stop and start climbing them. Then she looks up… 👀💗 almost as if she’s waiting for Toby to come out and play.

And apparently, Toby has a little crush of his own! 🥰

I hear that when Toby walks by our stairs, he looks toward our door too, almost hoping he’ll get a glimpse of his favorite girl, Misty. 💕🐾

I mean, come on… how fresh and sweet is this kind of love? 🥹❤️

Maybe it’s just puppy love… or maybe Misty has finally found her soulmate! 😂💘

Either way, I think we have a neighborhood romance in the making! 🐶❤️🐱
