Ritter Lane Farm is a local family-run Tiny Farm that had begun its journey in 2019 (with a bit of a setback in 2021).

We are striving to make the most of everything our woods have to offer. Using the tools provided by nature and learning new skills as we go! We keep happy, healthy chickens to produce wonderful tasting eggs, and grow seasonal gardens for fresh vegetables, flowers, and herbs. We bake fresh breads and cookies while also making skin loving detergent free soap. We are not a huge farm, just a small family, trying to be better and do better each day. We attend a bunch of fun markets that take place throughout the year. Check out our events calendar and come visit us with your family for a day at the market with Ritter Lane Farm.

SEPTEMBER 11 — WE REMEMBER

Twenty-five years later, we still remember.

We remember the 2,977 lives taken on September 11, 2001. We remember the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, paramedics, and countless civilians who ran toward danger while others were running away.

We remember the 343 firefighters and 60 police officers who made the ultimate sacrifice at the World Trade Center, along with the EMS professionals who gave everything they had to help others.

Their courage reminds us why we wear these uniforms.

As members of Lake George Fire and Rescue and Lake George Volunteer EMS, we honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders who answered the call without hesitation.

Today, we remember their bravery.
We honor their sacrifice.
We carry their memory forward.

Never forgotten. Never diminished. Never again.

We will always remember.

🚌 SCHOOL BUS SAFETY REMINDER! 🚸
School is back—and that means more school buses and children on our roads!
🔴 RED FLASHING LIGHTS = STOP!
✋ Stop at least 20 feet from the bus and stay stopped until the red lights are off.
🟡 YELLOW/AMBER LIGHTS = SLOW DOWN & PREPARE TO STOP.
Remember: A few extra seconds could save a child's life. Slow down. Pay attention. Stop for the bus. ❤️
Let’s get our kids to school—and back home—safely! 🚌💛

TRAINING TODAY. SAVING LIVES TOMORROW.
Our Lake George Volunteer Fire & EMS members take time out of their busy days to train, practice, and stay ready to serve our community.
CPR is a key factor in saving lives. Every second matters, and having trained responders ready to act can make a life-changing difference.
We don’t just answer the call—we prepare for it.
Thank you to our dedicated volunteers for continuing to learn, train, and serve!

MEET MARIA!

Please help us welcome and get to know Maria, a proud member of Lake George Volunteer EMS!

When she’s not serving our community, Maria can usually be found at the greenhouse, where she spends her days planting, designing, helping customers, and doing a little bit of everything! 🌱🌸

Outside of work and EMS, Maria loves spending time with her family, playing volleyball, horseback riding, and enjoying pretty much any outdoor adventure or opportunity that God sends her way!

Maria has been involved in in-home care and emergency medicine since 2020, bringing valuable experience, compassion, and a heart for helping others to our EMS team.

We’re grateful to have Maria as part of the Lake George Volunteer EMS family!

Thank you, Maria, for serving our community!

Follow along as we continue with introductions and updates!
