🍂 Sweater weather is back, and one of my favorite styling tips for fall is to look for texture and detail.
Instead of reaching for another plain oversized sweater, I love finding knits and cardigans with interesting stitching, chunky weaves, or little details that make them stand out.
Texture adds dimension to an outfit and makes even the simplest basics feel a little more put together.
And I LOVE mixing textures with metals! ✨
Layering a few gold chains over a soft, cozy knit creates that contrast between feminine and edgy that instantly elevates the look.
The best part? You can throw these sweaters and cardigans over the same tanks and jeans you wear on repeat, switch up your jewelry, and have a completely different outfit.
It’s those little details that make an outfit interesting without having to try too hard.
Sneaker vs. Heel: Same Outfit, VERY Different Effect 👟👠
Wearing an elevated pant, jumpsuit, or romper? Your sneakers could be making your legs look shorter and the outfit feel heavier. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE my fun sneakers under a tailored pant for some edge but recently I’m leaning towards a look that will elevate vs. just be “fun”.
Swap them for a heel or heeled boot and suddenly: longer leg line, better proportions, more elevated look.
Sometimes it really is just the shoes.
