For my next project I am going to build a Trestle table. It will be 5 x 7' in area and I may make it in walnut or cherry – – I have not yet decided. I'm on my way over to crosscut lumber right now to consider my options and enjoy my Saturday.

The making of the curly maple and padauk side table.
Today, my friend Eric and I went on an adventure to get some logs to mill into lumber. We acquired about 1000 board feet worth of black locust. Here is a fun time lapse of us unloading the truck. Also, Home Depot truck rentals are pretty cool.
