Bridal season is wrapping up, and I have just one more wedding left at one of my favorite venues! 🤍
I always have so many mixed emotions this time of year.
Bridal season is A LOT. It’s early mornings, packed calendars, tight timelines, and a whole lot of pressure to make sure everything is just right. And for me, it’s all on top of my everyday life behind the chair and running the salon.
I put a lot of pressure on myself because I genuinely want to give every bride my very best work. And while I absolutely love what I do, I’d be lying if I said there wasn’t a little stress that came along with it.
But I truly LOVE bridal hair.
There’s just something about wedding mornings. The excitement, the girls all getting ready together, the music, the laughter, the bubbly energy in the room. And getting to be a small part of such a special day, helping a bride feel beautiful and confident as she gets ready to marry her person never gets old.
So as much as I’m looking forward to a little breathing room in my calendar, I know I’ll miss it, too.
What a beautiful, busy season it’s been. 🤍

The only kitchen hair I will do. I begged my grandma not to make me cut her hair. It actually took us three cuts to finally agree on the length 😂😂

A dear friend asked me how we were able to take Summit out of her routine and still have a good trip with her.
And to be honest, at the time we left for this trip, there was zero routine. 😂
Summit had been in some version of a “sleep regression” since April. Learning new skills, teething, sick, teething again, sick again, learning another new skill… you get it.
She is sleeping better now, but at the time there was no routine to go backwards from. We were already backwards, upside down and in survival mode.
I’m really learning that so much of parenting is perspective, mental toughness, and finding the small pieces of good and running with those. And NOT comparing what you see online.
So maybe we were up 6 times a night. Maybe we snuggled more than I think is necessary. Maybe some moments were really freaking hard.
But she was happy. She was smiling. We got to be together and experience the fresh mountain air. Montana is one of Ross and I's favorite places and it was truly amazing to be there with her.
And when I’m 60, that’s the part I’m going to remember. 🤍

Sierra Lutz was a dream bride with stunning hair and alllllll of her bridesmaid followed suit.

Sometimes the timeline is tight and I just don't prioritize taking photos of my work and I always regret it.
