Turning something negative into something positive is something I’ve learned my whole life. It’s true when they say God can turn pain into purpose.

Last year, I went through one of the toughest seasons of my life. The heartache made me shift my focus back to my business, and it pushed me to try something new—adding permanent jewelry to my services. Honestly, I probably never would have done it otherwise. I was scared, uncertain, and questioned whether I was making the right decision.

Things didn’t necessarily get better in that other area of my life, but God started opening doors in my business that I never expected. What began as a leap of faith has turned into one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Looking back, I can see that even in the middle of disappointment, God was working behind the scenes. Sometimes the very thing that causes you pain is the same thing God uses to redirect you toward something greater.
