Some changes are happening.
May is the final stretch for Thursday Movement Experience classes.
Final Thursday class: May 7
Sundays remain.
No class: 5/3 & 5/10
This isn’t a workout. This is an experience.
What we do:
• Downregulate the central nervous system to get you out of constant tension
• Breathwork-driven movement to restore control and awareness
• Effective flexibility training that actually transfers to real life
• Controlled end-range, articulated rotation work for joint health
• Corrective core training to stabilize and support the spine
• Structured cooldown to bring the body back to a regulated state
This is how you build a body that moves well, feels good, and lasts.
If you’re 35+
this is the work your body actually needs in the second half.

Most people assume hip pain is a hip problem.
But a lot of the time, it’s not.
With Nina, the pain showed up as hip pinching or stabbing.
Every time she moved a certain way, it would catch.
Like most people, the first instinct is to stretch it, loosen it, or try to work directly on the area that hurts.
But what we see over and over again, is that symptoms don’t always originate where they’re felt.
The system above the hip, the lumbar spine and pelvis, plays a huge role in how force is transferred and controlled through the body.
When that system isn’t doing its job, the hip has to compensate.
That’s when you start to feel pinching, catching, or sharp stabbing discomfort.
Not necessarily because the hip is damaged, but because it’s taking on more stress than it’s prepared for.
So with Nina, we didn’t chase the symptom.
We built the system.
We focused on improving pelvic control through core stability and anti-rotation work, restoring hip control (especially internal rotation), and then progressively loading the exact positions that used to trigger that pinching.
That part is key.
Because if you avoid those positions, your body never learns how to control them.
Over time, things started to shift.
Better control.
Better distribution of force.
Less compensation.
And now she’s moving without pain, even in positions that used to trigger it.
Not because we worked around it.
Because we built her out of it.
If your hip keeps bothering you, there’s a good chance it’s not just your hip.
DM “HIP” if you want to see how we approach this inside our Lower Back Rebuild System.

Hip pain isn’t always a hip problem
Nina came in with a sharp pinching feeling in her hip
Anytime she moved a certain way… it would catch
Most people would tell her to stretch it
But that wasn’t the issue
Her hip didn’t have control
It couldn’t stay centered in those positions
And a big piece of that was coming from the system above it
the low back and pelvis
When that system isn’t stable, the hip takes the stress
and that’s where s**t starts to show up
So we didn’t chase the symptom
we built the system
Core stability and anti-rotation to control the pelvis
PAILs and RAILs to actually improve how the hip moves
Isometric strength work to own the positions that used to hurt
Rebuilding internal rotation
which most people completely miss
Then integrating it back into movement
Then loading it with real strength
hip thrusts, RDLs, step-ups
Now she’s moving without pain
Sitting in positions that used to hurt… with no issue
And feeling muscles she’s never felt before
This is exactly how we approach things inside the Lower Back Rebuild System
You don’t just treat where it hurts
You fix the system that controls it
If your hip feels like this
there’s a reason
DM me “HIP” and I’ll point you in the right direction

Most people don’t have a back problem
they have a system problem
They stretch
they strengthen
they try to “fix” things
but they never address how their body is actually moving
That’s why it keeps coming back
With Dan, we didn’t rush into loading or random exercises
we rebuilt the foundation first
control
stability
awareness
That’s what actually creates change
His review says it better than I can
If your back pain isn’t going away…
you’re probably missing the same piece
DM me “BACK” and I’ll show you where to start
If your back still hurts…
you’re not dealing with a “bad back.”
You’re missing structure.
Dan came in with a herniated disc.
Nerve pain. Poor sleep.
Even basic movement was setting him off.
Like most people… he had already tried things.
Stretching it. Resting it. Being “careful.”
But nothing was actually fixing it.
We didn’t guess.
We didn’t throw random exercises at it.
We followed a system.
Core control → spine capacity → hips and pelvis → strength.
And every step was guided by feedback.
How he felt during… after… and the next day.
That’s what told us when to push,
when to pull back,
and how to progress without triggering pain.
Over the last few months…
he’s gone from constant flare-ups
to sleeping better, moving better,
and not constantly thinking about his back.
That’s the difference between random workouts…
and a structured progression.
If your back keeps coming back
and you want to understand what you’re missing:
DM me “BACK”
I’ll walk you through how the Lower Back Rebuild System works
and what the right next step would look like for you.

One year of consistency.
Stronger legs. Stronger core. Stronger upper body.
But the real change is how she moves through life now.
Better posture. More control. More ease.
Small, intentional work adding up in all the right ways.
More than anything, we’re grateful for the kind of human you are.
Steady. Kind. Present.
You and your family show up with integrity, generosity, and care… and that matters.
Proud to walk this path with you, Dr. Meenu.
Small wins → big wins.

These two? .alex
Straight ride-or-dies.
Alex and Michelle started with us before there was a building—back when this class lived in a park at Freestone. Two years later, they’ve followed the Movement Experience from the park ➝ to Freestone Rec ➝ to Alta Boulders.
They’re the OGs.
The anchors.
The ones who helped keep this thing alive simply by showing up—week after week—with consistency, acts of service, and just genuinely good human energy.
We can’t thank them enough for their dedication, trust, and commitment to their bodies (and yes… they’ve definitely reaped the benefits 😏 hip movement doesn’t lie).
This class exists because of people like them.
And we’re damn grateful they’re part of our lives—not just the class.
Much love to you both 🖤

One full year of showing up.
One full year of choosing herself.
Michael joined us back when this class lived at Freestone Rec in Gilbert, and she’s been a steady Sunday presence ever since. No rushing. No forcing. Just learning to trust her breath, sink into her hips, and let go of the tension life stacks on all of us—because yeah… life can be fu**ed up sometimes.
Watching her move with more ease, breathe with more confidence, and actually relax into her body has been a privilege. Add in her infectious laugh, her smile, and her energy, and Sundays are just better when she’s there.
This is what the Movement Experience is about.
Not perfection.
Not performance.
Consistency, trust, and letting your body feel safe enough to open up.
Grateful for you, Michael.
Here’s to year two 🖤
