Cut down on the sugar!

Did you know that most breakfast foods contain sugar? Yes, that muffin, cereal or fast food contains sugar. A lot of it is simple sugar. Sugar moves fast from your stomach to your bloodstream. Your cells take in the sugar so fast that your blood sugar levels actually drop. The body say, "Whoa", and looks for a way to get in more sugar. You in turn eat more junk food to satisfy the craving. It also makes you tired and sluggish. That is why you hit the coffee pot at 10AM.

Eat a diet and a breakfast that is high in protein. It takes longer for your body to break down protein into the simple sugars in needs for you cells. This is a timed release of sugar into your body. Therefore you won't need to replenish you sugars levels with a candy bar an hour or two after you eat.

Getting rid of negative thoughts.

Did you know that every time you have a negative thought you can immediately replace it with a positive one. The more you replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts the easier it'll be to have positive thoughts pop into your head.

Try it. If you have a negative thought, say to yourself. "Things will always get better. Or I will have a good day. Or, I will get that new job soon".

Did you know that eating a breakfast high in protein and low in carbs will keep you going until lunch. Instead of a biscuit or muffin, try and egg with some vegetables. It takes longer for protein to break down and get absorbed. Therefore you get an even flow into your bloodstream, not that super sugar rush. I will explain the sugar rush/insulin dump in another post
