It is Friday, right?! Charlotte has been "open" for a couple weeks now but I'm still working on getting my days right!

For this , I am going to share three random facts about me + I want to hear three random facts about YOU!

1. I consider myself a ✨ I was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. After 21 years, I moved to N. Myrtle Beach and WOW what a culture shock. Since then, I've also lived in Savannah, GA and now we live in Charlotte, NC! I don't know which one I would consider "home" and always wonder about what and where the next adventure may be.

2. I started in the as a wedding venue manager and I instantly fell in LOVE. I wanted to be involved a little more with couples and their big day and transitioned to a wedding planner and I still plan weddings!

3. I LOVE organization! I have been out of school for what feels like forever but I still get all giddy about supplies. Post-its, highlights and notebooks are all necessary to get me through every project!

Work from home has looked a bit different these last few months... While we are continuing to be busy little bees for our clients, we know that needs are changing! Some businesses are slowing down and their outsourcing needs vary. We are changing too! Learning new ways we can assist our clients and still be a supporting partner. “Every ending is a new beginning.” ✨⁣

I relate to this so much, especially in this current season. Wedding season is wrapping up but engagement season and 2020 couples are around the corner! On top of that, I’ve just said buh-bye to my 20s and hellooo 30s 👋🏼⁣

My gypsy soul loves the end of one chapter. It always forces me to think back and reflect on not just the lessons learned but all that has changed in this season. Change makes me excited for the next chapter, to see what else can change in another year or so!⁣

Remember when I said life was crazy?!

Well, I had NO idea just how crazy life was about to get... I’ve been a little MIA on here but for great reasons!

As some of you know, I still work in the wedding industry as a luxury event planner and designer for the Southeast coast. Needless to say, this time of year is absolutely bonkers! So, while I’ve been missing, I’ve been planning and tackling wedding days!

BUT, these last couple of days, I’ve been missing because THIS happened and I have been dying to share it with you all!

We are basking in our happiness right now but tune in this Friday for a little time! Can’t wait to meet more of your faces and get to know each other even better!

Fall is hands down my favorite season 🍁🍂

It is a season full of family time, celebrations, holidays, and add on all the fall things - pumpkin everything, leaves changing color, the list goes on + on!

Since we moved this year, family time means traveling back to Savannah to see our favorites and I am SO grateful that I am able to work from anywhere! The freedom to make sure I do not miss out on any memorable moments but still being able to run my business and help clients is priceless!

Along with family time, I see a lot of exploring in our future! (Especially since it is cooling down!) If you're in the North Carolina area, tell us where we should explore! What's the must sees and must do's on your list?

Creating content... who has the time?!

The wedding industry is a fickle one. In the busy, busy season, there isn't any time for anything outside of client work. In the off season, you're busy playing catch up on your business while prepping for the next season full of clients! Am I right?! Where do people find time for the other things - the creating content, the blog writing, the emails, Pinterest, the list goes on!

We are always trying to up our productivity around here so we can provide the best service and support to our clients! The other day I was reading a post from The Social Bungalow about the tips she gives for content creating and I have to share my favorite one.

She says, "DON'T WASTE A MAKEUP DAY... if the face is done, the camera is out." And I just loved this SO much. Not only is it a great tip because you can batch content when creating! But I also loved it because, working from home, rule is REAL and sometimes you just need a little pick me up. Mine? Lipstick, I slab on some hot pink lips and I feel human again.

There's little reminders to take care of yourself while taking care of your business!

Wednesday has become day for us around here! We are focusing each day to a specific task and today is all about telling client's stories and work through blogs!

Ya'll, I have a confession to make...

We have lived in our new place for just over four months now and I have yet to move into my office (aka guest room). I am nestled on my couch working, while my desk sits in our living room, which should be in my office, right?!

Change can be so difficult sometimes though and I can't muster it up to feel like I have to work there. If you work from home, did you feel any similar struggles?
