Some nights, I look at the sink and think… I have absolutely nothing left for this.

After two weeks of sickness in our house, followed by a day of baking and making dinner, this was one of those nights.

Motherhood without a village can feel heavy. There’s no extra set of hands coming through the door. It’s us figuring out dinner, taking care of our little boy, and keeping things moving when we’re tired, and sick too.

And I can wish we had more help while still being really proud of us. Both things get to be true.

These days, I’m saying yes to little things that make the everyday feel easier. method foaming dish spray and dish soap were part of tonight’s village as I tackled the kitchen. I use it because it makes cleaning a breeze and because after giving so much of ourselves all day, I still want a little time left for us.

Only having each other to navigate it all can be exhausting, but as we’ve conquered each rough patch, we realize we’re stronger because of it.

If you’re raising your family without the village you hoped for, I see you. You’re allowed to be tired. You’re allowed to want support. And you’re allowed to feel proud of what you’re building—even when there’s still a sink full of dishes.

Some seasons ask a lot of our little family. But look at us. We’re doing it. 🤍

A mountain drive, apple slushies, and a bag of apples…what better way to spend a classic Fall day🍎

We spent the day apple picking at Mercier Orchards in Blue Ridge, Georgia, and it was the sweetest little fall day trip. Between picking apples, checking out the pies and apple treats, and wandering through the market, we could’ve stayed all afternoon. They even have apple tastings and a w**e tasting section.

It’s about 1.5 hours from Chattanooga and Atlanta, which makes it such a fun fall outing without needing a whole weekend away. Mostly, I just love making another little memory from this season with my family. 🤎

A little caffeine, a little candy and a few cozy treats…because teachers deserve to be boo’d too. 👻

I found these Halloween drink holders at Target and immediately knew they would make the cutest little teacher boo baskets. I filled each one with my favorite Bloom Nutrition energy drink, Halloween candy, a face mask, cozy socks, a ghost-shaped sticky note pad, a fun pen and a few other treats. Easy to put together, actually useful and just festive enough without going completely overboard. Which, for me, is growth. 😂

I’m going to need you to make this apple pie granola. 🍎

Its filled with crunchy pecans, dried apples, cinnamon and maple—and it made my kitchen smell unreal.

I made a Greek yogurt bowl for breakfast (which paired perfectly with my Bloom Nutrition Apple Crisp Energy) but it would also be fantastic over ice cream, or plain like my son eats it.

APPLE PIE GRANOLA

• ⅓ cup honey
• ¼ cup light brown sugar
• 2 Tbsp maple syrup
• ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
• ¾ cup coconut oil, melted
• 1 tsp allspice
• 1 tsp nutmeg
• 1½ tsp cinnamon
• ½ tsp salt
• 4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
• 1 cup chopped pecans
• 1–2 cups dried apple pieces

Preheat oven to 285°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix the honey, brown sugar, maple syrup, applesauce, melted coconut oil, spices and salt. In a separate bowl, combine the oats and pecans. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until everything is fully coated.

Spread evenly over the prepared baking sheet. If your baking sheet is smaller, divide the granola into two batches.

Bake for 55–60 minutes. Halfway through, remove it from the oven, stir in the dried apple pieces and return it to the oven. Let the granola cool completely before breaking it apart and transferring it to a container.

Had to show some love to this throwback summertime classic dessert….and people who KNOW this dessert know it absolutely slaps 😂🍓🥨

This nostalgic strawberry pretzel salad recipe is one of those classic summer desserts that instantly takes me back to church potlucks and family cookouts.

Sweet, salty, creamy, crunchy… honestly she’s iconic for a reason. And yes, I will be doing a little dance every time I eat it. 💃🏼

RECIPE
6 oz strawberry jello
2 cups boiling water
12 Tbsn unsalted butter
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 Cups crushed salted pretzels (4 cups whole)
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup granulated sugar
8 oz cool whip
1 pound fresh strawberries, sliced or chopped-your choice

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine boiling water and jello until dissolved (do not follow instructions on box) Set aside to cool to room temp
2. Crush pretzels in a sturdy ziplock bag or food processor
3. In a medium saucepan, melt 12 Tbsp butter, then add 1/4 cup sugar and stir. Mix in crushed pretzels. Transfer to a 13×9 glass casserole dish, pressing the pretzel mix evenly over the bottom of the dish, and bake for 10 minutes at 350°F, then cool to room temperature.
4. Using a hand mixer, combine cream cheese, 1/2 c sugar. Then fold in cool whip. Spread over cooled pretzel layer, making sure to seal edges to prevent layers combining later. Set in fridge for 30 minutes.
5. Combine room temp jello and strawberries and pour over cream layer. Cover and place in fridge to set for 2-4 hours.
Enjoy!

POV: the viral dot cake trend grew up, paid bills, got overstimulated… and ordered an espresso martini. 🍸✨

This adult twist on the viral dot cake might be my favorite dessert reel yet. Fudgy brownies soaked with espresso martini, fluffy cream cheese frosting, crunchy rainbow nonpareils, and that ASMR sprinkle drop…Absolutely dangerous behavior.

I swear this feels like the perfect crossover between millennial nostalgia and Gen Z dessert chaos and honestly… I support it. 😂

The little spoon crack through the sprinkle topping + the espresso martini soak = elite.
